yea I can relate to that part where the time to learn is really discouraging, but overtime I came to understand that many hypocritical people tends to pay more and give you much attention, the moment they know you're a professional. If your certification is from a recognised institution with great worth, good company are ready to pay triple for just being a decent graduate from a decent institution with additionally good grades.
So from then I just force myself to remain focused and become that so-called epitome of worth as much as possible.
I draw my strength from this school of thought...So if you really want companies, people and etc to take you places, you have to meet some expectation.
Certificatins takes you to the shores of the river, your personal skills helps you fish!

True dat. I think I'm only saying it because I haven't taken lengthy studies, but I'm also very driven, so I know once I commit myself to something, I'll stick to it & give it my all. It's only a matter of time as it is my goal to have a good social standing for my own satisfaction, I couldn't care less about opinions.
You mentioned studying abroad, do you have a country you're particularly interested in?

The country of my taste is USA but right now, Canada/Russia seems to be the best choice.
The pay is quite expensive for me right now. But I am on a internship that seem promising to send me there. I just have some task to achieve. And if they fail, I will sponsor myself either ways.
Infact Ultimately I plan leaving the Africa Society.

Russia seems like an odd choice. Why Russia if I may ask?
Think positively, anything is possible.

Like I said previously, the cost is what am considering, Many Russian school have flexibile programs for international students. So it is a good option.
But the canada option is what I prefer more.
Anyways have you ever been to any other country aside SA?

Ighalo scored our only goal in the game
Ighalo is the leading goal scorer in the tournament scoring more goals than every player ahead of top strikers like Mane, Salah and Zaha

Let’s put this into perspective: No player in this tournament has scored more more goals than Ighalo in this Africa Cup of Nations 2019

What else can you ask for in a striker?

This misconception is the bane of development in Africa. In very wise society, scoring a goal does not matter but winning the match. Any fool could have scored the goals accredited to Ighalo. The dude is glorified stick. He is a truck pusher.

Anyone can see you have some sort of beef with Ighalo. All your posts is busting at Ighalo. You all here acting as if he did nothing. I was simply saying he has performed way better than you guys give him credit for

Scoring goals is one of the most important measures about how a striker is performing
And scoring more goals than anyone in the tournament means he was doing his part.
Football at the end of the day is an 11 man team.

So He didn’t play bad. We wouldn’t have advanced past the round of 16 If not for his 2 goals against in that game.

I never said anywhere I was happy with the result of the game. You threw that one in there. People as usual are trying to make him the scapegoat when he scored our only goal

Oh OK lol.

I honestly don't wanna be THAT wealthy. It sounds stressful. However, I do wanna live comfortably & that's my goal. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

five years from now should be 2024 right?
Hmmm, by then I would be really working myself out. From next year it will be all about my worklife. I may bearly come to nairaland, I plan to work for about 15 years together (with masters and PhD) stuffs and set up my tech organizations. It's a plan in progress.
So in five years time I should be working and maybe married(This will have to happen miraculously). And I see myself in another society.

Mapping things out over time has been a skill I learnt when I read a book "Talent is overrated" written by Geoffrey Colvin. The book was an indept study of many child prodigy and renowned world class sport performers and Business tycoon. The conclusion was that although some people where really fortunate but the untold story was that some of their efficient and accurate strategy was based on conscious effort and plan and many didn't happen all of a sudden as many people think. e.g Albert Einstein(The father of modern physicst and the most celebrated genius) was chased out of school at 15 because he wasn't coping and was very dull. although this was true but the full story was that he was always a child prodigy in mathematics and physics and dislike the unpragmatic ways teachers teach their student. Also he didn't show interest in many other subjects outside science. But many wrongly thought he was so dull and all of a sudden became intelligently at some point because his condition changed his thinking.
It also mean if you plan to do something, there are many possibility that it may happen although not all of it.
So I have been following this opinion for sometime now and truth is I have been able to achieve something I hoped for although not all the time though.
