Company, and not country. And not contract. Imagine after the course and his current contract expires (as someone pointed out earlier) he decides to move to South Africa.
The point here is he can go on the course for his career development and market himself with his success stories. Nigeria should rather use that fund and train a local coach. And BTW, what are the success stories of the 'Bayern course?

Only if you know the baggage that comes with employing a nigerian coach, you will know why they sacked keshi,an average nigerian coach is so arrogant and can easily be bribed for caps ,those advocating for local coach, if it happens ,the kind of footballers you will see in the super eagles will surprise you ,in the past ,you will see a local player that has never been heard of before just getting a callup to the senior national team,he is not the best in his position according to league stats and he played very few matches. He will use the callup to secure a deal abroad .but now,this coach doesnt care if you are local based ,if you can't do the job,then you won't make the team ,normal nigerian coach will bring iheanacho to this afcon just because he is in the epl.i have been called up to nigerian u17 training camp in the past I know wetin eye see me because of no money to bribe ,i know nigerian coaches more than anything .i know what i am talking about

On dis one,he is not.Hiring n sacking of coaches at any slightest provocation is always a myopic decision to take.Dats why at times am not always happy with de club I supported ( Chelsea FC).Conte come,1st yr he won de league.2nd yr,he won de FA cup n 3rd yr,he was fired.In my opinion,dat decision was so irrational.Back to Rorh issue,b4 his arrival, Nigeria struggle to qualify for two successive African cup of nation but to no avail.But upon his arrival,we qualified for world cup with a game to spare.No usual mathematical calculations dat always characterized our qualifiers.De same thing happened during nation's cup.We even played up to semi finals.Why calling for his head immediately? Let's give him time to see wot he can bring to de table or otherwise before taking any further decision on his issue.So I support Pinnick on dis wholeheartedly.

I get your point. But look at it this way. Just one goal per match qualified us for knock out stage. Had we conceded in those, we would have long been out. Senegal is in the final, how many goals did they score in all their matches? They even lost a couple of penalties. But they kept advancing cos the didn't concede goals. In the last fifa WC, we didn't have to score again to advance against Argentina. But we conceded a cheap goal, and got kicked out. Do you see why a good back line iskey ? Even when we scored more than one goal , we conceded two, against Cameroon, a third goal could have changed the story.

I hope the news ain't true. Truth is our indigenous coaches always perform better but those greedy turtlenecks at the glasshouse prefer siphoning dollar chunks at the expense of The team's success.
