I think the method they now are using is slightly different from the one of 2017. In the 2017 own, everyone was sent invitation for the on-demand video interview regardless of one's performance in the cognitive and work style assessment tests. But now, one has to pass these before s/he will receive invite for the ODVI.

i thought so too, but screenshots were uploaded plus more than one testified to getting ODVI invites..so we can't completely rule it out and credence should be given

It may be screenshots from 2017 recruitment. I don't think anyone has gotten invitation for ODVI.

For those doubting the OVDI, you may do well to keep abreast with the previous thread on this company's recruitment. It follows the current pattern that plays here. https://www.nairaland.com/3829939/shell-nigeria-graduate-recruitment-2017/84. There are 3 outcomes from the test; a regret mail, a pending mail and a success mail; the 1st and 3rd likely to be received some 48-72 hours after the test. For the 2nd, my guess is that it is dependent on the availability of space for the role applied(Shell almost always applies a first come, first serve basis) more often that not regret mails are sent later. I wish everyone the very best.

And saying the pending mail is based on their availability of space cos of first come first serve purpose ,u re wrong cvos I applied on d very first day d recruitment was posted on d net ,I and my friend,the next day we were sent mails which we did and finished d test on d same day, two days later my friend got a regret mail but I havent received any mail yet. I strongly believe that mails for odvi is yet to be sent and those who have written d first stage of d test on d first week and haven't received regret mails till now re tru to d next stage. Shell is not run by Nigerians that they waste time to communicate to applicants abt their status of applications or test, but d delay in sending odvi is because they want the deadline for application to elaspe which is on Sunday 21th before they start serndfing odvi mails collectively to successful candidates, this is so because the ve a stipulated number of people they need and once it gets to that number they start regarding other applications as late entries and such might be disqualified,that's y they advised anyone to take d test within 5days of receiving it and they themselves try as much as possible to send anyone who applied rightyly d link for d test on d same day they applied so that if anyone applies like on 20th, before he gets d link and maybe submits his test it would be too late that's y earlier application is also advised.

Brotherly He hasn't been online for a while now if you can check his profile at this time last login was 17th https://www.nairaland.com/kingsbike and you know shell will be closing window to application by Sunday so instead of waiting. It's better you do your assessment. Delay could be dangerous

infat it's wise for anyone that's yet to apply or do assessment, to complete it today (Friday) because Saturday and Sunday weekends. Their system may be sleeping or running checks & balance and may not respond as expected (just my thought o)

In 2017 I believe ODVI was the first stage. That's why everyone got it. Just like everyone is getting mails for the first stage now.

this is very convincing. But does that mean 3, 4 different people were lying earlier in the thread? i should really tone my trust senses if that's the case

They are not saying the truth guy... Check Ur profile if u re yet to get text after the test. Click on the 'job opportunities' text Written in blue. It will take u to a place where the different five stages of the recruitment process are placed. U will find out that there were two green ticks on Ur first two steps. I believe it means the registration u made and the test u made were done successfully. The 3rd step is the ODVI which is yet to be sent, therefore, not ticked yet.

It will take u to a place where the different five stages of the recruitment process are placed. U will find out that there were two green ticks on Ur first two steps. I believe it means the registration u made and the test u made were done successfully. The 3rd step is the ODVI which is yet to be sent, therefore, not ticked yet.

if you truly got the ODVI invite, it is really going against your defensive nature on here. If you are telling the truth, congrats but note that you shouldn't take things like this too serious. it's nothing. Good luck!
