Gani and co are now being politically correct using words like strangers, gunmen, masked men, Evans etc. Well, whatever assurances they've got, I really hope it's worth playing the ostrich for cause we all know excusing a crime does not turn the criminals on the way to penance, rather, it emboldens them

This is what i have been saying and some people were aruging with me here that we need to host fifa world cup. Nigeria has long list of serious problems to fix. Daily, Nigerians are been kidnapped and raped at an extremely high rate. The media cant report all. Only high public figures get attention.

There was a time my aunt's husband was kidnapped, they refused to make it media thing and sorted out the kidnappers. Some people said i am not patriotic. I mean, some animals think patriotism means hiding the fact and painting everything white. That is lying. Nigeria is currently having so many malfunctioned systems. What we need is not to host fifa world cup, but a collective way to reduce our problems. Our problem has a lot to do with our constitution and system of govt.

i saw your post on that thread,i was even against Nigeria hosting the tournament because I fear for the security of those girls. The truth is Nigeria is seriously sick and it seems the government has intention of leaving this country like that. I still insist,with the high rate of kidnappings and murders going on in this country,fifa should save those innocent girls and they should take that tournament away from here.

lmfao!!!some female World Cup event.heard Nigeria is a big favorite for the hosting and some FIFA officials are coming on an inspection of facilities here.also heard that FIFA will pay Nigeria $4m.some guys on nairaland are happy that the event is coming to Nigeria. With the level of greed here,i won't be surprised if some people decide to venture into kidnapping white fans who came to cheer their teams(not even the footballers who will be properly secured but the tourists/fans who came from far-away).i just hope FIFA won't use it's own hands to lure a lot of oyinbos to doom.

I couldn't believe some people claimed patriotism is all about believing what is not true. Nigeria is politically confused at the moment. Insecurity is so high. So high now. We are yet to understand solve our political confusion and someone is telling me about hosting FIFA world cup. Why the masses in this country love to live in denial beats Ma imagination. That is how we lie to our selves and call our selves giant of Africa.. Madness. Giant of Africa with 3500MW of electricity for over 150 million people.
