Sentiment outside, if igbos had access to state resource at the top level as this abokis or yolobas..they will be miles ahead in every sense.

My sentiments exactly. Whenever I look at Niggeria growth and look at Igbo growth in 50 years after the war despite the hurdles, I'm ashamed we're still stuck in this shithole. I don't even based my opinion using all igbo. Like for example, I'm one to say the truth. Anioma did get help from Delta State government in rebuilt. I'm not ashamed to say it. I'm from Asaba and I know some of our areas were rebuilt by the government although they focus attention more in Delta central and with more so than North but, they tried. I base all my opinion from SE Igbos. The Niggeria government have repeatedly attempted to destroy am through any political way they can think of and despite it all, SE Igbos have thrived more than anyone can dream. When you compare their growth despite the multiple attempt by Niggeria government to subdue them, one needs to applaud. I always say it if SE was not stuck in Niggeria, they would have thrived 10* better. That's actually one of the main reason I support them truly and want to join them in Biafra. My people has to be around groups that think about growth and development, not something idiotic as how many political position can I hold. A lot of development that's happened in Asaba is because of Anambra people. I'm also not ashamed to say that either and I hope they continue.

Let me shake this table a little: Certain tribe don't beg much...but when it comes to armed robbery... They are number one!

Which one will you choose...to beg or to rob people!

That means you've never travelled.

9th mile, Onitsha, even Abakaliki - Ogoja park, them plenty for there.

Funny enough, even in Ojuelegba, under the bridge, you'll see well known beggars from the east.

This goat calledReno is mad, go and ask fashola he will tell u.
bellachibaby:
Reno wrote on his Facebook account as follows:

"Since I was born till today, I have NEVER seen an Igbo BEGGAR. Africa should study this most enterprising ethnic nationality. Nigeria had her fastest GDP growth in 2003-2007 and 2011-2015, under the hand of an Igbo woman named Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. It can't be a COINCIDENCE! The Igbo are an African ethnic nationality that have produced more US dollar multimillionaires, per capita, through their apprenticeship system, than Harvard Business School. Igbos prove that WHO you know takes you farther than WHAT you know #FreeLeahSharibu #RenosNuggets"

There are Igbo beggars. I will be honest. Reno would have been absolutely right if he had said "I have never seen an able bodied Igbo beggar". What I am saying is that Igbos only have people who resort to begging because they can't, reasonably, fend for themselves. E.g the blind or those suffering from illnesses that they can't handle financially.

This is unlike some tribes with healthy able bodied men begging for alms with bowl. E.g...lol

The conclusion of the whole discussion is that the Ibos are the most enterprising ethnic nationality in Africa. The Ibos create wealth and develop the environment where they do business.

There is a lot special about there own kind of apprenticeship. Like Reno acknowledged, many of those apprentice have gone to be renowned successful business men.
A research has been carried out about it by renowned universities abroad because the apprenticeship system HSS lifted huge number of people from poverty to wealth.

It may not be to you, but international institutions have recognized this particular kind of apprenticeship system in lifting Africans from poverty, because those institutions are concerned about poverty in Africa, and finding ways to reduce poverty in Africa. And the apprenticeship system is one very important way.

Our kind of apprenticeship has raised a lot of millionaires too. You can only speak based on your level exposure.

How many countries have you been to in Africa? Ibos are not as enterprising as Yorubas. You only like to cheat beat due to your inferiority complex.

Some of you Afonjas are so dumb and full of envy. Pathetic!!! Your fashola did not deport Igbo beggars rather typical of your envious, tribal hate filled Afonja, he deported anything and everything he found including some Afonjas and dropped off in Anambra state claiming them as "Igbo". The names of the people he deported in which he provided when called out is still floating around on the internet in case you niggas forgot.

In addition, till date no body could clarify whether the deportees were actually beggars as majority of them denied being beggars and accused Fashola of kidnapping them and dropping them off accusing them of being a beggar. A perfect example is Mr. Osondu Mbuto, who he dropped off in Ebonyi state, that reported that Fashola task force kidnapped him on his way to his shop accusing him For alleged "wandering and other minor offences." He was in prison for 6 months before getting deported to Ebonyi state for no reason whatsoever.

Next time you want to display your typical Afonja behavior, make sure you don't refer to your tribalist brother's act that's still very fresh in memory

Go back to your parents to learn manner. I can’t make sense of the gibberish you typed.

It shows he doesn't know Nigeria well. Since he was born, he's probably abroad or inside AC inside, inside tinted glasses. And these are the kinds of people Nigeria is cursed with always having around its leaders. They tell the leaders rubbish.

Its normally the responsibility of the family and the church (mostly Catholic and Anglican) to take care of disabled people in Igboland.
They learn crafts and produce goods which the church buys and sells during events like harvest and bazaar to members.

I agree with you. The FG have tried to frustrate them for several years including now, the little chance they had under OBJ and GEJ was quickly used to turn our economy around in a short time

Reno lives in America. Even America have beggars. They are problem for the city ciuncils in California where Reno resides.

When he wants to wa.nk Ibos ego he will do mischief and throw out a curveball for them to celebrate. Who will ever agree that a race of humans exist and everyone of them are well to do? Thats the position he claims for Ibos here. grin

The entire five states in the South East is just about the size of one state in the north, yet each of those tiny states collect from the federation accounts and you are here talking trash. No section of the country enjoyed more from the center like the tiny South east.
