I agree with u, in the end it boils down to personal preferences like u said, I will choose a smaller phone with a decent battery over a bigger phone. I so much detest big phones .

As for the radio part , but my headset and Bluetooth speaker HV radios, so if I should ever find my self in that situation I'll still be good

The funny thing about this your personal preference talk is that it is too late already for you to go to that route.

Your personal preference for Mi9SE doesn't make it a better device than the Mi9T.

I will repeat it again here, the basis of your argument has been on trying to console yourself for not waiting a little bit longer and getting the newer Mi9T tongue

Well! Sorry it happens to the best of us. cry

I didn't say flagship aren't worth it. What I'm saying is in essence is that due to some people's operations they might not see the difference between the flagship and midrange, and also the usefulness of some features
I get your drift bro. Whichever way we want to put it, the Mi9T will come first before the Mi9SE in most comparison list. It is just the overall better device.

As the price of the k20 drops, the price of the mi 9 SE drops further
and it is because the se is older and there is availability of a better option(9t) that will get better support

Phones are always better than the other..

Why Should I buy a phone worth 120K when there is another worth less, that does almost the same task..

It will be a dumb decision to buy Mi 9 of 140K what all I want to do is social media and movies...

Then cost effectiveness come in, Mi 9 SE will perform all task Mi 9T will perform. At a lower cost.

You guys can continue arguing in a circle.. grin

Those are not features you find in flagship, yet they are still called flagship, Where are those features on OnePlus 7 pro??

I can say a phone without 3.5mm and radio can be likened to a flagship grin

”Radio is useless, it is irrelevant” ”There is Internet radio now” yen yen!
Get to a remote area without internet network and tell me how you will access Internet Radio. undecided

Una wey dey even use the Internet Radio, how many places for Naija get good network?

As old as the technology behind radio is, it is still one of the most relevant means of passing information around the world, especially developing countries like ours.

If we go by this your analysis, would you advice someone to presently get a Redmi Note 5 over the Redmi Note 7, or you will still advice someone to buy the pixel 1 over the pixel 2 or pixel 3 because they can do the same thing?

So it is still better to buy a 1999 car model to a 2019 model because both of them can take you from point A to point B because of price difference. That reasoning is flawed.

I understand people like you because I have a lot of your type around me.

The Mi band 4 versus Uwatch 2

Mi band 4
General Features
> 0.95 Inch Colour Amoled display
> 120*240 resolution
> Full touch screen
> 50m water depth (5ATM)
> 135mAh LiPo battery
> 6 Sports modes
> Sedentary reminder
> 24hrs heart monitoring
> Remote photography
> Pedometer
> Sleep monitor
> Lift to wake up function

Pro
> Bluetooth 5.0 BLE improves connection range and faster and stable communication with device
> 6 axis sensors (3 axis accelerometer and 3 axis gyroscope) for improved step counter and sleep tracking)
> Many watch faces -77*
> Decline calls feature on it and lock screen features
> Control music features with increase and decrease volume options

Con
> Strap - polycarbonate. Look so cheap
> No inbuilt GPS sensor
> Charging design. Have to remove band to charge. Strap overtime can slack
> Poor view under direct sunlight
> Small display screen size

Uwatch 2
General Features
> 1.33 Inch IPS display
> 240*240 resolution
> Full touch screen
> IP67 water proof
> 180mAh lithium battery
> Nordic-Nrf52832 chipset
> 7 Sports modes
> Sedentary reminder
> 24hrs heart monitoring
> Remote photography
> Pedometer
> Sleep monitor
> Lift to wake up function

Pro
> 43.8mm Dial full metal unibody
> High precision stainless steel strap - Looks premium
> Easy to charge
> Free sport watch band inside box
> Larger screen display size
>Decline calls feature on it

Con
> Bluetooth 4.0
> 7 watch faces/Limited
> Poor view under direct sunlight
>No inbuilt GPS sensor*

Comparison
1. Fitness function+Normal watch face Look for all occasions/dress- Uwatch 2>>>Mi band 4

2. Premium look- Uwatch 2>>>Mi band 4

3. Connectivity range and stability- Mi band 4>>>Uwatch 2

4. Preset watch face- Mi band 4>>>Uwatch 2

5. Battery- Uwatch 2>>>Mi band 4

6. Music control- Mi band 4>>>Uwatch 2*

7. Prize-

Note:
* = Contestable/debatable
Motion sensor and chipset were not compared because there are missing information about numbers of sensors used by Umidigi and chipset used by Xiaomi (suspecting Huanghan No 1(MHS001)).
If the NFC variant is thrown into this contest, Mi band 4 wins but will lose in the Price category.

I currently own a/an Uwatch, will I move to Uwatch 2? Nope(Reason: same chipset, same battery capacity and same screen size. Just full screen touch option and more preset watch faces added). Will I move from Uwatch to mi band 4? Hell No (Reason: Small screen size, lack premium touch and it's attire selective).

Even your phone is not made in 2019, whats your point?

You are contradicting your self,

My analogy is in line with the car you mentioned.

How may people buy 2019 model ?

I'm using Pixel 2, the experience is far better than your Mi 9T.

Your own stand is cost effectiveness and in a way you might have a tiny point. However, this doesn't make the Mi9SE a better device than Mi9T.

Just because the Redmi Note 7 is more cost effective than the Redmi Note 7 pro doesn't make it a better device.

Your brother @godspeed stated that he wants to go a step further and prove to us that the Mi9SE is the better device..
So your own arguement is a bit different from his.

And the comparison was at launch. I dare say the Mi9SE was way less cost effective at launch because it offers less compared to Mi9T now.

All I asked for is a task the 730 can perform but the 712 can't.

See I once sold my Samsung galaxy note 4 and bought a Samsung c7pro with inferior chipset, but everything I was able to do on the note 4, I did flawlessly on the c7pro
note 4 highest antutu score (v7) is 81k while the sd625 on the c7pro do hit 77k ....so no major difference
