what did you do

Na same old way na, get a new sim, after registration, send GET to 141, if you get a congratulatory message, send MIFI to 141. After that you can recharge your line and suscribe to your desired bundle. You can dial *223# or *140# to check your data.

At the bolded above, just because it is still working well doesn't mean I should recommend it over Redmi 5 plus now.

If the price is the same buy latest,

So as Xiaomi release devices we should throw away old one and buy a new one at Higher cost at Launch..

Let's see how this ends.

When was the arguement ever about anybody throwing away their old device to get the latest one? undecided

Incase you need a reminder, the arguement was and still what is the better overall device between Mi9SE and Mi9T.

Is that too hard for you to comprehend? undecided

You skipped comparing the Snapdragon 712 Vs 730 and running to it's 2 steps ahead senior brother SD 855 to find solace, which is the basis of our argument.

And you mentioned the SD 675. Common the SD 712 is just in your words "marginally" better than it but that won't make me recommend the RN7pro over the Mi 9 SE.

calm down on this your processor issue now... have you ever recommended the mi6x/miA2 over the redmi note 5/6 pro?
despite having a better processor

If Changes in design was not such a big deal, Most of the OEMs would have stuck with the old 16:9 design with large bezels.
Even Samsung at one point had to bulge and move towards the trendy design .

So leave me out of the Design is always subjective talk.

How many of you here will buy any latest Flagship with Samsung S6 kinda bezel in 2019? undecided

Yeye , iPhone created the notch and it was very trendy then, but few OEMs refused to follow that route including Samsung

Just because your need doesn't warrant those extra features a Flagship has doesn't mean the midrange you are settling for is a better or a match with any flagship device.

The Mi9T is an overall better device than Mi9SE when every available factor has been considered.

Every available factor has been considered u said?

The only thing u have been hanging on is chipset and battery even at that they come at extra cost despite not doing much significantly different than the MI 9 SE

Essential phone created the notch.

Samsung didn't follow the the notch?

The S10 series cutout design is technically a notch.

The A series line up of this year have notches. Apart from the A80.

The only OEM that haven't used a notch so far is Sony

With all due respect this statement here is a lie. How the heck does the Mi9SE have better design than Mi9T?

What f**king confirmation?

A device with a dew-drop notch is better design wise than one with a fully immersive unobstructed full screen display? undecided

With this your analogy, your Mi9SE has a better design than the OnePlus 7pro. Yeye dey smell undecided

This is not my business, ur ally provided a screenshot that shows the mi 9 SE is better in design and then another ally of yours posted the YouTube link that also confirms the mi 9 SE is better in design.

At the bolded, tell that to all OEMs doing away with the bezels with every release.

Even the likes of Tecno and family are not left behind.

What in saying is new design will come every day it doesn't necessarily render it previous device archaic.

People are still buying the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 with bezels.

Even the iPhone X with notch does not look old compared to ur k20

This ”negligible” is your creation.
Remind me of the generation of Underscreen fingerprint sensor on the Mi9SE compared to the Mi9T.

The argument has gone back and forth for a while now and there are no more new points.

So everyone, let's tally and collate specs...

MI9SE Vs MI9t

Which is better in SoC/CPU, camera, battery, optimization, support, design, attachment ports, functionality, price gap, personal preference. If there are any I have missed, please quote and add.

This session has reached its end.
Thanks to everyone who made this afternoon a success. At least na family fight today, Xiaomi Vs Xiaomi. Nothing loss, nothing spoil.

The funny thing about this your personal preference talk is that it is too late already for you to go to that route.

Your personal preference for Mi9SE doesn't make it a better device than the Mi9T.

I will repeat it again here, the basis of your argument has been on trying to console yourself for not waiting a little bit longer and getting the newer Mi9T tongue

Well! Sorry it happens to the best of us. cry

You are very funny oooo. See, I once changed phones 3 times a year because they didn't offer what I wanted. You know I just read reviews and watch YouTube videos, but when they finally arrive, I feel less impressed, sell at a discount and move to the next one.

If I feel the k20 is better than what I got, it cost me nothing to Sell it off and buy the k20. Knowing the frequency with which I change phones, u know how many of my colleagues are queuing behind my phone when it's up for sale

As old as the technology behind radio is, it is still one of the most relevant means of passing information around the world, especially developing countries like ours.

You're just so boring with this ur radio talk. Who cares about a radio in a 2019 smartphone

Phones are always better than the other..

Why Should I buy a phone worth 120K when there is another worth less, that does almost the same task..

It will be a dumb decision to buy Mi 9 of 140K what all I want to do is social media and movies...

Then cost effectiveness come in, Mi 9 SE will perform all task Mi 9T will perform. At a lower cost.

You guys can continue arguing in a circle.. grin
why did u nor buy pixel 1
..
its more cost effective na

If we go by this your analysis, would you advice someone to presently get a Redmi Note 5 over the Redmi Note 7, or you will still advice someone to buy the pixel 1 over the pixel 2 or pixel 3 because they can do the same thing?

So it is still better to buy a 1999 car model to a 2019 model because both of them can take you from point A to point B because of price difference. That reasoning is flawed.

I understand people like you because I have a lot of your type around me.

I will choose an iPhone of 4 years ago over a Tecno of 2019. Your analogy does not hold in this context
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by godspeed: 5:37pm On Jul 20, 2019
scotweezy:

Your own stand is cost effectiveness and in a way you might have a tiny point. However, this doesn't make the Mi9SE a better device than Mi9T.

Just because the Redmi Note 7 is more cost effective than the Redmi Note 7 pro doesn't make it a better device.

Your brother @godspeed stated that he wants to go a step further and prove to us that the Mi9SE is the better device..
So your own arguement is a bit different from his.

And the comparison was at launch. I dare say the Mi9SE was way less cost effective at launch because it offers less compared to Mi9T now.

Cost effectiveness is part of the reason the mi 9 SE is better than the k20 pro at least by today's price
