If she had paid free ticket for everyone she would have created buzz and happiness around that place and her son will still be the center of attraction. But she decided to be proud and disrespectful. To see everyone as npt worthy enough to stand shoulder high with her son. She will be at loose more. Plus her son get to watch such great movie with no company in site. We're is the fun in that.

What rent. A public social place.

Just go in there announce to everyone that their will be refunds for all tickets and anyone who is buying there ticket is already paid for. And see how that place go into overdrive. Everyone is wishing your son happy birthday.. and snapping with him. People are rushin in to get there fair share of awoof. Even the management are happy for the positive vibe you created for them. Won't that be a better alternative. Rather than renting a whole place and letting empty sits lie waste. On an important social day as your son birthday.

Interpreting anything from pride is always awful compared to humility.
