thorpido: Extremely bad and corrupt. Everywhere you went you'll see condoms littered everywhere. We had cults in fego after you left. The school became so bad, most of the surulere and festac boys turned the school to something else. Evans was a millionaire as a secondary school student, they called him Emoney then or Evans the money man. |

Blabbermouth:Trust me, it's easier said than done, for even the Pharisees derided Jesus when He warned men concerning this, but then of all things it was money that would make one of his disciples to betray Him to the same Pharisees who bribed him to bring Jesus to them, to show that Jesus surely knew what He was talking about. A pastor once said to me a long time ago that if there was something that pastors had not yet overcome which could cause problem between them, it was money.... And the reason he was saying that to me was because of what a pastor with whom he started a church in Port Harcourt had done to him, for they had an agreement concerning money. But then when he had fulfilled his part of the deal, the pastor then reneged on the agreement they had. And the pastor in question is a very popular one in Port Harcourt and nationwide with strong links to David Oyedepo for both of them graduated from Oyedepo's pastoral school. And yet he is the same person that cheated his fellow pastor because of money, so these concerns are very valid fo though men can be deceived, but never God. Blabbermouth:I'm really not clear on what you mean, but I think I have an idea of what you're trying to do. I hope the other instance I gave with respect to a nation applied. Here are some others I think could do same. *Train up a child in the way he should go, so that when he grows up he shall not depart from it. *Leadership by example is one of the best way to teach the led or the best way to lead is by example. *A house built on a solid/strong foundation is more durable than that built on shaky/soft one. Also the quality and strength of the materials used to build the house, determines the strength of the house. *A merry heart is like medicine. * Once there's life, there is hope. *He that lives by the sword, dies by the sword. *Sowing time is the time of difficulty/labour/sweat/sorrow/investment, harvest time is the time of enjoyment/wages/happiness/ease/dividends. I hope these examples help. God be with you. |

thorpido: nothing lasts forever. Evans father was a multi millionaire as I heard, after he died, Evans noticed that his father kept some millions in a secret vault, and that was where he was getting his money. He even bought a car immediately he finished from Fego and slept with a lot of unilag girls who used to hail him then, cos having a car then was a very big thing. His elder brother later knew what Evans was doing and blocked his source of income. That was the last we heard of him. 3 Likes |

Mariangeles: Pride ke. There is nothing to show off in the devil neither is there anything to show off in the flesh, for the flesh profits nothing. You're not the first lady that has made this same comment. Why is it that no guy has made this type of comment. It's got me thinking, well That's who I was then, I was trying to tell a story of who I was then and how I got into cult. It's not pride. If you knew me then you'll know it's not pride, I even tried to be as modest as possible, that's why I didn't go into so much details, cos I didn't want to glorify the flesh, neither did I want to glorify the devil. 10 Likes |

Mariangeles: That's why I said, if anyone has questions they can ask and I'll willingly answer. By the grace of God a lot of people who contacted me and heeded my counsel have been delivered through my chats and prayers with them via email, I don't talk about it, cos I can't share God's glory with Him. Those that have been delivered from Satan's grip since this thread came up can attest to that. I have their testimonies in my mail, but can't share it , cos they are private and also cos I would like God to have the glory. Hope you had understand better now . 9 Likes |

Re: Cultism, The Spiritual Consequences And Deliverance Through Christ by Nobody: 5:52pm On Jul 24, 2019 |
Mariangeles: It depends on what you mean by the word Christians, cos my Bible tells me Christians are those who have been born again. It also depends on the cultist, cultists that go the extra mile normally feel uncomfortable in the presence of Christians, cos the presence of a true Christian might destroy their powers, but the ordinary ones might not really feel anyhow, cos the devil is very deceptive. When I was a cultist, I hated anything that has to do with Church or God. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Mariangeles: I only went to churches without fire, that's churches that were like social gatherings. I can remember the year I gave my life to Christ, I had just moved to the street where an evangelist(a young retired Reverend) was staying, this man was a man of fire. I avoided him like a plague not only because he was a man of fire but also because he was always preaching to me, which always got my conscience troubled, but it was thesame man that God eventually used to turn me to Christ. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Rogersmith: The scriptures was clear on the reason why God built a hedge around Job in the book of Job 1:8- A perfect and upright man, one who feared God and hated evil. Job was a man who had great fear of God and hated evil with passion. In his confession in Job 27:3- 6( 3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; 4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. 5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. 6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live) He was a man of integrity and even the words he uttered before God were scrutinised. This is the major reason why God built a hedge round about Job. When one lives righteously, such person draws God's favour and protection towards himself. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Rogersmith: In the Bible days, the nation of Israel enjoyed God's protection as long as they lived according to God's will, but the moment they sinned against God they became vulnerable. I stopped visiting the hospital after I gave my life to Christ, I never tested drugs again. At a certain time in my walk with God, He asked me to do something and I disobeyed , He spoke the second time I disobeyed again, not long after that I had low blood pressure and was hospitalised. I cried out to God and instantly the Holy Ghost said, when the hedge is broken the serpent will bite. I humbled myself and asked God for mercy, He forgave me and restored me. From that day till now, I never disobeyed God again and I never visited the hospital again and don't know what the hospital looks like. 9 Likes |

EnthronedbyGod: Hmmmm.....I've been compelled to comment. I know about this,(the dude was shot and killed under a mango tree where bike people used to stay around Engineering block-AC) the war was so so massive, Enugu that period was so so bloody and terrible, it later turned into a general hit/war. There's this brilliant guy that was shot in class. Very very intelligent guy with a promising future( Ist class material and an only child) he was a member of Apache law student in ESUT, he was around his final year then( I can't remember his name). The then Gov. Chimaroke Nnamani despite his rugged and dugged nature couldn't control the hit as usual, until it claimed so many lives, including innocent souls like mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters of flared members. Then if they visit a cultist and the person isn't around, they would kill anybody/everybody available in that household. Enugu was so dreaded in cultism around 1995 till Sullivan took over. Another replica of 97/98 hits was 2012/2013, second general war after that of 97/98,so many family men that were almost going to become grand dads had their lives cut short by small boys young enough to call them daddy (cultism is like the Internet, it never forgets),even when you think you've graduated bunch of decades ago, so far you're still inside life and the devil remembers you, a boy your lastborn's age will end your life. I know of a great pharmacist in south east that they killed his son who was also a pharmacist controlling one of the biggest and well known pharmaceutical store in south east - because the guy was an alleged cultist- despite having graduated over two decades before the incident. Bunch of innocent souls lost their lives too because of mistaken identity, jealousy or associating with a cultist knowingly and unknowingly. My own two cents is, if you can't stand the heat, don't near the kitchen(which you obviously can't stand). Desist from befriending a cultist if you're not one, because they easily know when they've caused trouble, they will flee, then you as an innocent and unsuspecting fellow will be roaming/walking freely as per jewman with nothing to be scared about, the opponents will just come and use your head to count score. Secondly do not live an envious or proud life on campus; even the holy bible in implored us ".....to above all, live a quiet life" (jealousy and envy is everywhere around Nigeria and her campuses), many have gone out of mere envy and jealousy from people. Be wary and mindful of clothes, bangles (fashion/attire generally) you put on and most importantly places you go to and people you hang around with. I'd stop here as the spirit leads, would have loved to unveil a lot but some would be forced to go that path because it might seem right while it isn't. Gandollaar:I know 2 guys, all adults, one is in US now, one just finished his NYSC here. They ve both not had sex with ladies yet, but are heavily lusting for it as they masturbate hourly. Porn has got them damaged. I know a girl too who is a virgin in her twenties, as in, not slept with a man yet, but masturbates like hell too, and does porn. So, yes, it happens. |
