2 things;
The President is either very stubborn & driven with ulterior motives
OR
His handlers aren't truthful people

Either ways, The whole thing could be the proverbial straw
Enough of this crap!
If you have a clue what Elzakzaky represents, you will thank pmb with your life.

The black man has no knowledge of national interest vs constitutional justice.
Im sure the same court will grant Shekau a leave, thats what is called cash and carry justice, howeve,r SSS must do what is necessary to keep us safe, fvck the courts!
same thing I advanced against sudden pro Dasukis. Alzakizaky is even more dangerous.

when people say "Bleep the courts" and other people like that post... it goes a long way to show that there are a lot of children reading this thread. and its good. (young people interested in security matters)

unfortunately we don't get to see our faces and ages attached to our usernames.... so that we know who to respond to and who to ignore...

- i remember vividly when mohammed yusuf was killed illegally by police and they were jubilating, shooting in the air in celebration,
nobody knew that tens of thousands of soldiers and civilians will be killed, territories taken, and millions displaced with no end in sight to the war on terror in the north east

- when both political parties (pdp and apc) were soliciting support of elzakazy and his followers before elections, didnt they know these people oppose the sovereignty of the nation?

- how can the army kill more than a thousand shiites extrajudicially (if i may add, including several children, women and babies! babies for crying out loud) simply because some of thier members blocked the convoy of COAS and sane Nigerians dont see anything wrong with it?
- now you have taken their leader to court (as a democratic nation), why not do your due diligence and properly prosecute him, if possible influence the ruling and send him to jail? ...
- the court has released him on bail, you still illegally hold him for 4 years, giving their members a reason to masnifest their violence and people come here and say 'we should thank buhari with our life'

personally i think Nigerians deserve what we get. we love intimidation. we love slavery. we love oppression.

we have not finished eradicating
1) boko haram (in its various forms: ISWAP etc)
2) herdsmen/bandits/rustlers (that kidnap hundreds monthly)
3) militants
4) highway kidnappers

we want to join shiites to the war.

people who believe that death is the way to a better life WILL ALWAYS win a battle over volunteer soldiers (armed forces)
these people want you to engage them in shoot outs. elzakazy has lost 6 children. 6 of his own children. these people want to fucking die fighting and take as many people with them.
are these the people you want to fighthuh?

the US, UK, and other developed countries that everyone masturbates to on this thread will never engage these kind of sick people on their own soil. even these days, on foreign soil, they'll rather train a local army using "advisers" to confront these threats and engage mainly with drones. but usually their first form of engagement is economic sabotage - freezing accounts of sympathizers and sponsors NOT EXCHANGING BULLETS WITH PEOPLE WHO WANT YOU TO SHOOT THEM AND MAKE THEM MARTYRS just so they can inspire a new set of fighters

there's no need. some of you still wont understand.

Bleep the courts. let the SSS save us by illegally keeping him in detention. After-all Nigeria isn't a democracy.

I can relate with your post as someone from South East where ipob was/is like a religion before nnmadi Kanu arrest.

Truly I tell you, had Nnamdi Kanu been killed during his detention in DSS cell, I can authoritatively tell you that ipob could have carried arms and unleashed mayhem.

U cant fvck with a dude that has up to a million followers ready to die for the course.

Here is when intelligence sets in..

why has the US not attacked iran since the iranian revolution?
why has the US not attacked north korea?
if the US were to attack these nations do you think they will start by putting boots on the ground? or by shooting missiles and drone attacks?
why dont you think they will start by putting boots on the ground?
what is the role of the CIA?
why is the CIA always embedded with soldiers in war zones?
why does the US use private contractors in war zones?

human life.

we dont know what it means in Nigeria
- labour unions protest - send soldiers
- church members protest - send soldiers
- election - send soldiers
- SUG protest - send soldiers
- armed robbers - send soldiers
- escort politician - send soldiers
- escort white men - send soldiers (if you live in port harcourt this is common site, 3 hilux of soldiers escorting ONLY one white man)
- escort pastor - send soldiers
- road construction - send soldiers

someone confronts soldiers, that someone is killed!!!
nothing happens. business as usual
media reports it, government calls them bias and saboteurs.

as i have always said on this thread. i dont blame the military. they only follow the orders they are given.

Jesus Christ. It would have been a full scale war right now.

my neighbour plays radiobiafra for his children, the oldest is less than 10 years.
he plays it loud that i hear it loud in my own house. he discusses with them about it.
this man is ready to die for this cause. he is indoctrinating his children.
if you were to have a problem with this kind of person - violence will never be the solution.

just as you said "here is where intelligence sets in"
we don't seem to understand the concept in Nigeria.

Load of crap.
And u sound like a typical coward,
imagine, some group of people telling the chief of army to turn back from the road because they re protesting, had it been the chief of army actually turns back, who knws maybe u will be among the ignorant that will be calling him a coward,
Why should the police value their lives when they dont value it themselves,
Go to the community where these guys re domiciled in kaduna ask from the people living there of their bad experience with this guys.
Do u knw the number of time weapon that have been confiscated in the port which is meant for this people.
U even went so low to the extent of abusing someone like another persons opinion, i see u attach so much importance on social media likes.
And why cant those guys be civil and law abiding must they attack security personal while protesting, nt that the govt stops them frm protesting in the first place.
This same zakzaky was giving the govt some conditions back then.
Telling the govt to recognise the shia islamic territory in Nigeria which is creating a state within a state and two seat should be giving to them in the parliament among others.
If this are the people u re here supporting undecided undecided undecided.

Its not a matter of support. No, God forbid.
Neither will anyone knowing the complexities of having three hotspots in the North agree to keep Zakzaky in bonds [especially when his Supporters have a moral ground to protest based on court ruling]

Is this not Nigeria?
Is House Arrest new?
Is forced exile new?
They issue here is this Administration's seeming tactlessness concerning this issue. Yoruba's say pe wèrè l'oko iyawo ko le je ka r'ona lo - loosely translated "Call the madman the groom so we he can let us go/stop bothering us"
Have we not learnt from Mohammed Yusuf's death? Here is a man in like manner, do we do the same thing again expecting a different result? Is that not madness?

I learnt they first three stones at the COAS convoy.

But this method of throwing stones by protesters Ian good at all.

How will u expect an armed personnel not to retaliate when u throw hard objects at him.

everybody gives conditions to government. both good and bad people.
It's left for government to use it's discretion and do the right thing.

militants gave govt conditions - they now monitor pipelines all over the niger delta. ateke tom is now a king.
boko haram gives govt conditions - in fact they are being released back into society. We are told they "repentant".

Do you remember some people telling FG that if they are not given RUGA people should be ready to lose their lives?

just last week, did you see the video of a bandit issuing orders to govt, saying nobody can stop him from killing and policemen were clapping and laughing?

youngman, dont do this. the point is - there are better, smarter ways to nip trouble in the bud before it escalates.
violence only pours fuel on fire.
and military officers are trained (from NDA to Jaji, several senior staff courses and leadership courses at home and abroad etc) to handle these!

people throwing stones at you shouldn't make you lose your mind.

donald trump has been insulted in the last one month than all the presidents and chiefs of army staffs in nigeria since independence.

It is really funny the way some people wake up and think they are smarter, better informed, more competent and have more common sense than the thousands of policy makers and civil servants in Nigeria combined, isn't that the height of self-delusion?. grin If you disagree, they label you a child who knows nothing and have no idea how things work in the US and UK and on Mars.

El-Zakzaky starts building a Shiite empire, sets the stage for a total national Shiite revolution, gets sponsorship from Iran(in cash, training and arms), bullies the good people of Zaria, shuts down a chunk of Kaduna State every year for the purpose of a religious procession, publicly denounces the authority of the government and sovereignty of the nation, all these being done for decades uncurbed...what should be the government's response?, according to some erudite analysts on nairaland who apparently know more than the entire government put together, we employ "intelligence", just like the US and UK(let's all pretend both of those countries would have allowed such a situation in the first place). What does intelligence entail?, going by the gospel according to Saint Know-it-all nairaland political gurus; we release the mastermind of a potential radical theo-revolutionary sect and if any mischief maker were to use that opportunity to kill him and blame the government (which would then start the war that he was released to prevent),well, we scratch our heads, scrub our noses and of course blame the government. Just like always.

Oh,let's not forget we have to follow court orders, which were probably procured through the backdoor (but nevermind, we have to follow the orders anyway, because that is how it's being done in the US). Same court orders that have let loose dozens of looter on the alter of "self recognition", allowing them regroup for another shot at plundering our quaking commonwealth. In my tribe, we have a very interesting storytelling habit.

if a child is very stubborn, they advice him with a story, every problem has a unique story attached to it.

here's an interesting story...

my son, what killed your father?

son: he ate a snail he caught in the bush.

my son, what killed your mother.?

son: she ate a snail she caught in the bush.

my son, what killed your brother?

son: He ate a snail he caught in the bush.

my son, what are you holding in your hands?

son: I caught some snails in the bush and I'm about to eat them.

end of story...

you see, what will finally destroy Nigeria won't be big, its just a small thing since we don't learn.

This your submission brings you out as a typical Buharist. You said that the court judgment was gotten through the backdoor. So Buhari is now the one that decides which court judgment to obey depending on his mythical powers to tell the procured ones from the genuine ones. Lol

In fact. He was trying to escape in his jeep when they caught up with him along gyallesu (kongo campus)/road around 11: pm... So u don't even know what u are talking about... By morning the military and taken control of the area... No shot was heard through that day...
Lol. So the women and children who were massacred were killed by who and what since no shots were heard.

once again, how old are you?

do you realise that there are a lot of people who don't value their lives in Nigeria, in the world, should we kill them too?
and their children too?
undecided undecided undecided
U re concerned about security operatives defending themselves but nt about those guys been violent nd lawless.
I knw u dnt have a family in the police, if u do, u wont be supporting those protesters.

when people say "Bleep the courts" and other people like that post... it goes a long way to show that there are a lot of children reading this thread. and its good.

May your wisdom and knowledge never run dry.

If you'd get off that your deluded high horse named oversabi then we talk.
You are just being ignorant, let me ask you; did you hear that the Iranian government asked for the extradition of Elzakzaky? Which outlaw in Nigeria has ever enjoyed that privilege if you sincerely think Elzakzaky is an ordinary Nigerian? Never mind that Nigeria has no extradition agreement with the Islamic republic?
Here is Elzakzaky's end game;

I am seeing for myself how media-savvy the mainly-Shia Islamic Movement in Nigeria has become.

Inside the compound, a dubbing operation is under way.

Flattering documentaries of religious leaders are being translated into the local Hausa language, with hundreds of DVDs sold to eager locals every month.

The movement has had a thriving daily newspaper for more than two decades and says it will soon broadcast its internet-based Hausa radio station on the country's main air waves, and start up a new TV channel.

In recent years, the once tiny movement's membership has sky-rocketed in size and scope while all attention has shifted to Boko Haram, the Sunni Islamist group fighting for an Islamic state in Nigeria.

Iranian inspiration
Some are worried that this movement may be growing unchecked by the current ruling powers it condemns as discredited.

Its leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, became a proponent of Shia Islam around the time of the Iranian revolution in 1979.

Events in Iran encouraged him to believe that an Islamic revival was also possible in Nigeria.

Ever since, he has grown increasingly confident he can build a permanent Islamic state within the country.
Is this the nonsense you want for your country?

Enlighten yourself here;
