lol!...You might have doubted his statement about the US because of its gun culture.

You have to also understand that the foundation and independence of the US was founded on using guns to protect themselves from invasion and from over throw of their government.

The rights to bear arms is embedded in the US constitution to serve as that at that time but as with every thing led to some of its purpose getting abused.

There is no need to scare people away from going to the US legally on a visiting or student visas.

Really?...what exactly did I mention that will scare away those entering legally? I was trying to avoid this kind comment be making it clear this thread is directed to those who want to migrate and settle in the US illegally. Should I encourage them to come and over stay their Visa and become illegals? Maybe you can... but for me ... I face the reality every ... I can't.

150% more than right..there is no country you can compare with America..thats a fact.It is so because of the flexibility of opportunities it offers to every one regardless of your academic background so long as you really think like a human being.US encourages all kinds of venture reason Mexicans, eastern Europeans,Africans who do not eve have high school education succeed because there are no restrictions to small start up retail shops..so many Nigerians back homt done even know that there are road side vulcanizers in New York, road side welders, kabu kabu blowing whistle for you with "Heysss are you going?...with people selling candys and cookies in the subways..with people coming out on the streets with their truck loaded with coconut ans selling to passer by..with guys hawking soda and water on the highway of NYC just like lagos...

you cant try that in Canada, you need to first be educated in Canada...everything regulated with govt policies ...small street businesses are not encouraged...

what America stands for is why it is called living the American dream...there is no country that is easy to succeed other than America with or without papers.

There is no need to scare people away from going to the US legally on a visiting or student visas.

After their three months legal stay in the US they can get an American to fall in love, marry and then can change their temporary status to permanent status via adjustment of status to obtain a green card. Unfortunately this is one of the weak US immigration loopholes that most visiting and student immigrants have used and are still using.

Hnmm. This explains alot.

Tell them Ooh

According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement statistics, 256,085 people were deported in fiscal year 2018, up from 226,119 removals in fiscal year 2017.

That's still significantly less than the number of people deported during fiscal year 2012, when the Obama administration deported more than 400,000 people.

Staffing limitations and budget constraints generally limit how many people the US can detain and deport -- and how quickly that process happens. While the Trump administration has said it still focuses on criminals, there was an uptick in the number of people arrested by ICE without criminal records. Crossing the border illegally is a misdemeanor.

In Trump's first year, ICE arrested 109,000 criminals and 46,000 people without criminal records -- a 171% increase in the number of non-criminal individuals arrested compared to 2016.

CNN first reported in May that the administration had been considering deporting migrant families with court-ordered removals in an attempt to "send a message" to smugglers, according to a senior administration official.

As part of the consideration, the administration had been looking at an operation rolled out in the late years of Obama's presidency -- and revived in Trump's first year in office -- that also targeted families.

In 2017, ICE apprehended 650 individuals during a four-day operation, dubbed Operation Border Guardian/Border Resolve, which targeted families and unaccompanied children. According to the agency, it was the second iteration of the operation which had also taken place at the start of 2016 following an uptick in families and unaccompanied children crossing the border illegally.

Similar to the upcoming ICE operation, all individuals had court-ordered removals.

CNN's Catherine E. Shoichet contributed to this report.

Help us. Finish the thought, have people there been picking gold on the street of America?
