She said the process was contracted out to consultants and very few staff of NNPC have verifiable info that's not speculation on the process.

The circle is very close and she's not even sure her connect will be able to have any impact on the selection process.

Even at that, we can't conclude that majority of Northerners are not on nairaland. People who applied for this job are all educated and the internet is not restricted to a particular region.

We were interviewed based on the location we wrote the CBT that's why you see most lagosians interviewed on the 6th. There are a lot of SW guys here that's why when the 1st payment was made it seemed like only people who interviewed on the 6th got payment that day cause they came to nairaland to update us, while in reality people from all dates have received. So nobody should come here and authoritatively say that (s)he is sure a particular date hasn't been paid.

Leave am now, let's say the interviewees is even 10k, and Nigerian LG is 774, that's average of 13 applicants per LG.
He knows 21 interviewees already in his LG alone, how about the ones he didn't know? not to talk of other LGs in his state.

And majority of the ones that were paid this week were from 2nd July.. Were they not on nairaland last week? Why don't you ask people who don't use this platform the date they were interviewed. It's obvious it's in batches.

You could decide to use the south-south/south-west as a sample and see how it plays out.

what if they have both been paid but are just trying to manage the situation here to avoid adding chaos, or undue tension to what we have already, as it seems they have become figure heads or should I say role models for the Tfare alerts? Just thinking.....

before and during the interview we were united...but now NNPC has divided us into "alertees and non-alertees"... it is what it is oh, correlation or not...theory or not...everything go clear when apl drops anytime.
