No one has shared their experience of being a pilot in Canada.

Dandsome:

I didn't see anything about becoming a pilot

Hello house, does anyone know if there are airlines that allow travel on canada PR visa with less than 6months valid international passport...someone is looking for this option as it's become a tug of war renewing passports in Nigeria
Go to Gwagwalada passport office in Abuja. You will get it max 2days. Just give the officials some tips.

Do some airlines not accept such? I remember having less than 5 months on my I.Passport, it wasn't a problem, or maybe i didn't even know it was a problem. I flew Air Maroc though.
Ok thanks alot, many airlines dont that's why am asking if anyone have used an airline that accept such

Greetings to all our seniors in the house.
I’ve been following this thread from the first part even before I got Ppr. I’m currently awaiting COPR and I’m trying to plan the next phase of my life, my career especially. I’ve gotten loads of tips and answers to most questions I had in mind since I’ve been reading through the thread and I must express my gratitude for the time taken to respond to all questions. God bless all who took time to respond and assist in various ways. At the moment, let’s just say I’m worried of my career path, being that I have a B.Eng in Petroleum Engineering and with the stories I’ve been reading about the economy in Alberta... not sure anymore if that’s a favourable career path. I planned to do a masters in the same petroleum engineering, with the mindset that it will help me integrate properly in the system but I’m not sure anymore. I wouldn’t mind the inputs of our seniors especially those in engineering and any other person with words of wisdom for me. Cc @salford1 @sixsigma @maternal @blackbuddy @vcole @ all the good people in the house

I know what you are suggesting, but It's not about who no go no go know cheesy.

Hiring managers (PMs in whatever industry one is in) can see and smell BS when screening resumes or during interviews. That is why i said getting the experience is major not the certification.
Nomad 26 gave a good advice though since Adunni gave an insight about her work experience.

@ the bolded. Their Nose have undergone an advanced evolution. grin

Hi please if you have prince2 will it be recognised in Canada being that pmp is more dominant in north America?
I have seen only maybe 2 or 3 vacancies where prince2 was on the list of assets. The vacancies were Business Analyst job posting though.

This is strange. I don't know of any airline that will deny your boarding because you have less than 6 months validity on your passport. Can you send a link to the webpage of any airline that gives that condition? Airlines don't request for passport validity when booking flights for a reason.

For those asking, NGN to CAD yesterday at the airport 28 July, 2019 was NGN 286 = 1 CAD.

I got mine changed for NGN 284 by calling a mallam in my area, he initially offered 290 but I checked abokifx.com and bargained for the price I saw on abokifx which was NGN 284 and he agreed.

Good day house ,

Lagos-London-Calgary on BA and Air Canada...(with Nigerian Passport)...and need for Transit Visa?

secondly,
Has anyone flown Air Canada from London to Calgary recently.

what's the experience like?

Thanks

BA seems to be the cheapest now. I checked UK government website and this is what I found. However, I need someone who has actually flown this route to share their experience.

Transiting without a visa
You might be eligible for ‘transit without visa’ if:

you arrive and depart by air
have a confirmed onward flight that leaves on the day you arrive or before midnight on the day after you arrive
have the right documents for your destination (eg a visa for that country)
One of the following must also apply:

you’re travelling to (or on part of a reasonable journey to) Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the USA and have a valid visa for that country
you’re travelling from (or on part of a reasonable journey from) Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the USA and have a valid visa for that countryttps://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa/y/nigeria/transit/somewhere_else/yes

Someone here was asking about how architects can integrate since they are in a regulated profession...There's a bridging program for you guys in Ontario, see link below.
