I hope the shites secured approval from their igbo brothers.

This will really be a big slap on the faces of the igbos who recently protested in support of the shites.

Igbos are indeed foolish, stupid and full of hate.

For those calling the president a dullard, from the way buhari dealt with Igbos,atiku dubia strategu now to the IMN i think we really needs to rethink who the dullards are.

So they've been humbled but come to think of it, the FG should obey the courts and release him. It is better they operate in the open than drive them underground to become another boko haram. We all know how BH started in 2009 after Yusuf Mohammed the then boko haram leader was executed in custody (though they had become extreme before then but that made matters worse). Just my thoughts...
They are playing mind game because of August 5th

This is the difference between a Buhari/Obasanjo in power and a civilian ...

If prompt action like this was not taken we would have had another boko haram on our hands, DON'T FORGET these idiots also protested in Lagos. Why? cos they're Anarchists.

When last did you see Runtown with his Lion??.??.??

Also note a foreign country and known sponsor of Terrorism like Iran is also keenly interested in this matter and have also been very vocal.

Best Regards.

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria a.k.a Shiites have announced the suspension of all Free El-zakzaky street protests in Abuja.This development is coming a day after the Inspector general of Police, Mohammed Adamu announced the proscription of all activities of the shiites.

Below is a statement sent to POLITICS NIGERIA by the group, signed by its media chief, Ibrahim Musa;

"The Islamic Movement in Nigeria do hereby announce to the general public and the international community that it has temporarily suspended its Free Zakzaky street protests to allow for some new openings into the resolution of the problems, especially the court case instituted by our lawyers on the proscription order made by the federal government this week."

"It has taken this step in good faith out of respect for some eminent people and groups, whose input in the resolution of the problems appears genuine and we sincerely hope an amicable way could be found to solve the crises surrounding the illegal detention of our leader for almost four years now.""If at all any protests occur anywhere in the country, it might be this notice hasn’t reach those in the field or this message is misunderstood or it is some security agents who are mischievously behind it as they have been doing in an attempt to smear our image and be seen as unruly people rather than as victims of savage oppression since 2015."

"The Islamic Movement wishes to thank both national and international civil rights activists and organizations who have been busy demanding the protection of our fundamental human rights as enshrined in the constitution."

"We also thank the press, both national and international, and the social media activists for the full coverage of our activities throughout the struggle for justice.""We are committed to exploring the new openings we have seen in resolving this protracted issue. We, therefore, reiterate our demand that our leader, his wife and several others in detention be given their freedom denied to them since 2015."

Dealing with unarmed protesting groups by tagging them terrorists and attacking them without provocation? Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram continue to lay waste of human lives and properties across the country and he is silent. Protests are Democratic actions permissible by the constitution. But your good leader has continued to foil all channels for Nigerians to demand that their rights are respected. Minimum wage has yet to be paid yet senators and ministers are getting welcome packages worth millions. Because of religious and political sentiments...some of you have turned a blind eye to the injustice faced by your fellow Nigerians all because you have not been hit. Don't worry. God watches us all.
Posterity will judge.
