infinix, Tecno,itel etc are non Uber specified phones.i met someone at alausa last week that was banned for life for using infinix hot phone.pls stick to iPhone 7 for now till you can afford Samsung and other accepted phones

Some gets banned because the GSP/distance covered does not reflect actual when viewed from backend...and to them it is either sakamanje or incompatible devices.

Note some of the devices banned by Uber are still on their platform but you will not say, i dont know if issues generated by the device makes them block/ban u.

i heard of someone that was blocked and was requested to change his device to a compatible one.

I used infinix hot 4 pro for over a year, I was blocked when my phone gps started dancing, you will know that your phone is dancing when normal trip of 1000 starts becoming 1800 or 2500 or thereabout. I went to their office and they told me to get another phone with emphasis on avoiding a double sim phone. I was unblocked immediately but advised not to go online without getting another phone cuz next blocking will be permanent
