Odunayaw:I don't post content here and prefer not to engage in discussion. This is supposed to be a discussion thread where we can learn from each other, but I've long since found that arguing with Nigerians is a risky and profitless proposition. Rather than say sensible things most Nigerians will when you bring facts that blow their notions out of the water start insulting you. They will insult your lineage, the wall gecko in your room and even your ceiling fan. Thus, I prefer coming here in ghost mode and trying to mind my business. Actually though I spend far more time on Quora than I do here. I spend around 2 hours daily on Quora reading, learning and discussing with people, most of whom are calm and matured. That is not the case here. And that is why I don't see much point in posting content or engaging in much discussion. But that doesn't mean I will stay silent when some folks trot out absurd facts and present them as gospel. |

See eehhhhnnn make una stop all this nonsense argument this is battle feild discussion not battle feild argument and insult thread meanwhile another propaganda from Our best enemy Mrakeli: 3:51amIslamic State says killed or wounded more than 40 Nigerian soldiers - Amaq CAIRO (Reuters) - Islamic State said via its Amaq news agency that it killed or wounded more than 40 soldiers in the northeast Nigerian state of Borno in two separate attacks on Tuesday. The group said militants attacked a military post in Baga and killed at least 15 soldiers before carrying out a second attack on an army barracks in the town of Benisheik, where they killed around 25 more. Locals and military sources told Reuters there were clashes between insurgents and soldiers in the state on Monday and Tuesday. Reuters was unable to immediately verify the number of people killed or injured in those clashes. An army spokesman did not immediately respond to phone calls requesting comment. More than 30,000 people have been killed in northeast Nigeria since 2009 in an Islamist insurgency. At the weekend at least 65 people were killed in Borno, the birthplace of the insurgency, when militants targeted civilians travelling from a funeral. Reporting by Samar Ahmed in Cairo |

U also think u re stubborn but u re nt, we re more than 30 viewing this thread if we all decided to pounce on u, u will end up going on a sabbatical leave as usual. We ve accomodated people that re more stubborn than u but they end up redeeming themselves from trolling and derailment. There re laws governing this thread and if u cant adhere with it, it will be advisable for u nt to post at all, because no one has two heads, if we all adhere to the rules, i see no reason why u should be exempted from doing thesame. I have the right to post about issues and expose the absurdities and progress as it relates to our fighting men and women out there. Stop whining like a petulant child. You all should continue your kindergarten photofest and leave me alone to post about real issues. You can insult and troll me all you want, I will post my contents and there ain't nothing you can do about it besides your tantrums. Odunayaw:Again you prove you are just a baby, Just hear yourself. "Do your thing on your thread", do you even think before you type sometimes? Is this your thread? Are you a moderator? Odunayaw:Lol who is crying? I barely even ever address you, on the contrary you interject yoursrlf into my business. Can you tell me the matter you are alluding to and how you "treaed it"? whst matter did you treat? I don't remember ever asking you for your opinion. I exposed the absurdity of the Nigerian Air Force building gulf courses and sewing factoring at a time the nation is facing its greatest ever existential threat. ...and this convo was with Bidexi....but like the keyboard thugs you are, you and your wingman Henry burst into the scene suddenly we are talking mental illness. Do you see you people have not only destroyed this thread, you are gong stark raving mad? attacking people like wolfpacks? Do you think everybody has time to come here and start talking Toyota pickup trucks and the latest dead bodies captured. The bloodier the better. Abeg, get off my case. Ain't got your time. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by GabrielYulaw(m): 1:22pm On Aug 01, 2019 |
Odunayaw:.I am not taking any side. Guy stop seeing things through the lens of them versus us. What I'm here for is to learn and contribute to discussions on how to move the country and it's armed forces forward. That I agree with SLBMS doesn't mean I support everything he is about and hate the likes of Bidexii. That I criticize the armed forces don't mean I hate them. That I criticize our military equipment doesn't mean I'm just running my mouth, but simply that I want our forces armed with the very best so that this war can be over soonest. This is a discussion thread about weighty topics and not a clique section. |

Henry240:Just when I think you couldn't possibly get any dumber you always prove me wrong. Just look at what this one is saying. I actually thought you were not this silly. When have you seen me advocate for S-400? and the F-35? Are you nuts? That said it is people like you that makes corruption thrive. Always eager to make excuses for incompetence, you cannot think with your head how Nigeria is fast fallen into oblivion militarily. I just gave you an example but you are too dumb to grasp it. You telling me Henry that the wealthiest economy in Africa with Trillion dollar GDP (ppp), huge forex reserve and a defence budget that dwarfes the rest of the region combined, cannot rebuild and modernize the armed forces? Do you think with your head at all? We allocate $1 BILLION to buy BULLETS. That's more than the defence budget of the two strongest francophone countries combined. Between 2012 and 2018 $26 BILLION has been spent on security. Dasuki Sambo alone cornered $15 BILLION, FIFTEEN BILLION DOLLARS, Did the Nigerian economy collapse? Where did the $15 billion come from then? How can you win a war by digging trenches and doing point defence because there are not enough MRAPS and air assets to go on offensives. The few times they brave up and attack without air support they get massacred. We lost our greatest tank commander because for 40 minutes they held their own waiting for support after walking into an ambush. The air support that never came. FORTY MINUTES. Do you see the adverse effect of corruption? But as long as people like you exist the Oga at the top have no reason to fear. You will always make excuses for them. NO MONEY. That you will even utter such nonsense is enough to make me question your sanity. Soldiers go to battle with no bullet proof vest in Hilux truck yet we spend $659 million on a crop duster aircraft that won't be delivered until 2022. We earmark an extra $1 billion for bullets and you do not see the absurdity of it all. Your job is to come here and cry how poor Nigeria is and post stupid pictures of Toyota trucks,.,five years have past you are not tired of pisting the same ole pics. You've chased away serious contributors by your stupid attacks on those trying to have a cerebral conversation. You my friend are a disgrace. You find comfort in your circle of equally deluded friends and because oh are not capable of havjng a cerebral discussion you fight thise who do with crude remarks. See how foolish you are? |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Nobody: 3:24pm On Aug 01, 2019 |
..,.and let me tell you why we keep recording casualties. Why Boko attacks army bases and cart away with weapons. Our Air Force is a joke. Nothing but an avenue to generate income by embarking on capital projects that quite frankly is beyond bewildering. Current fleet size 11 Alpha Jet 9 F-7No fighter. No airforce in the world has a %100 readiness rate, not even the USAF. This means at any time Nigeria can send to the air only five or six aircraft at any given time. One would expect the AF to hand over its helicopter fleet for expediency sake. .NEVER. So what do we have? Despite being the underbelly of the Nigerian armed forces, the air force has for the past decade been doing nothing than seeking allocation for its own army, construction projects, sporting competition. Troops in the front are dying, we are celebrating the commissioning of the NAF fish pond. The day Angola took delivery of its first batch of Rafale fighters we commissioned a new sewing machine factory. ...and you wonder why nobody takes thia country setious. We have becone the laughing stock of the continent security wise. Now we have to deal with a Shiite uprising. The absurdity of it all is gut wrenching. |
