There is no need to hate them. Your job is to educate and enlighten them, where ever you find them having misconceptions about your people or your ethnic group.

A Fulani person who takes you as a friend wholeheartedly, is one of the most loyal, and dedicated individuals you will ever find. Such a person will go all out for you, and do everything to advance your cause. They don't do things in half measures.
