Ademola Lookman is open to the idea of switching his international allegiance from England to Nigeria after he was approached by the Nigeria Football Federation. According to Sky Sports, the young winger could be the next youngster to follow the footsteps of Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina and Victor Moses who chose to represent the Super Eagles after featuring for England at youth level. Lookman spent part of his summer vacation in Nigeria and was overwhelmed by the reception he received from his Nigerian fans. The Nigeria Football Federation will need to get a clearance from FIFA before the winger becomes eligible to make his debut for the three-time African champions as he has competitive caps for England youth teams. Lookman was a member of the Young Lions squad that won the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup in South Korea. An England U21 international, he completed a permanent transfer to RB Leipzig from Everton last month. |

ChrisKels: Monaco isn't better than Gala. At least for now. If he goes back it won't be the worst option. He is a champion there and he won't have to worry about adapting or waiting for his time. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: My assertion isnt majorly borne outta his choice of Gala over Monaco, rather I made that position having in mind Who's still at the helm. Rohr is German and French bias, and naturally he doesn't rate Onyekuru neither does he, the Super Lig. So what do u think the presence of Lookman from the Bundesliga is gonna do to his international career knowing full well he aint an integral part of the squad yet? |

ChrisKels: If he kicks on from where he left off at Gala the decision of the coach will still be hard. I think his numbers will be better if he stays put and that would be difficult to overlook. Remember staying would mark the second time in his career that he will have back to back seasons at the same club. |

tbaba1234: If the French league is better than Turkey it is not by much. In fact outside PSG the perception is that the rest are a bunch of farmers. If u want to talk about consistency, this could be his third season in champions league if he stays in Turkey something Monaco cannot offer him. |

BascoVanVeli: Movement from the French league to the top leagues is more easier and frequent The top leagues regard the French league to the Turkish league Example below

safarigirl: When a comment is taken out of context it becomes a CON. I am sure you are familiar with the term. You have changed the core theme of the discourse and created one of your own. You imply that the discussion was a comparison of my knowledge in comparison to that of Rohr. That's simply not true and very misleading. This discourse centred on the idea because Rohr is a German football coach. He is therefore an authority on the subject of player performances , quality , ability and quality essentially player RECRUITMENT in the German leagues. The presumption that led you to your proposition show your lack of understanding and knowledge of football administration and management. You jumped on to the bandwagon without knowing where the final destination is and where it started From. Then used one of the stops to decide the final destination. That's not wisdom but the opposite. What underpins the decision to recruit players is a network of recruitment heads, scouts, analysts and that knowledge converges for an informed decision to be made. That knowledge is mostly experiential particularly for recruitment heads. Sometimes scientific and sometimes emotive depending on the club management structure. There is a very distinctive difference between a COACH and a RECRUITMENT Head. Having this in mind, l want to ask you two questions. How many Clubs in the German leagues has Rohr managed❓ And what in your opinion makes him an authority on players recruitment in the German leagues.❓ ❓ Finally what has Rohr been mainly centred on for the past 10 years❓ ❓ ❓ These questions sum up the substantive approach to the question not an emotive one based on ill informed personal presumption. 2 Likes 1 Share |

BascoVanVeli: I disagree. There are very poor teams in the Turkish top flight..France is much better. PSG is an elite team comparable with the best in europe so no shame for the other teams. No Turkish team comes close to that. |
