Life is a scam, that's what Many have been saying.. I don't believe it to be true but recent events I happening around me me swallow it hook line and sinker.....
i remember after my secondary school while I was hustling and at The same Time planning to gain admission....i was making money and that doesn't make me lose focus on my education aspirations....but my friends Like hovering around me maybe because they taught i do spend money....if they ask for assistance i do lend a helping hand to show how generous i am.. but the mistake i did was not spending Much on family especially parents...
after I gained admission into the polythecnic,all my so-called friends deserted me,no call,no message, nothing,not even a text message....no one to depend on for money..i was broke like mad,i found out that the statement "" life is a scam is true"".....All my friends longer call me...
Remember this life The only group of people that will never leave you even if things go From bad to worse are your parent.... try as much as possible to take proper Care of them as long as they are alive.... I Hope this piece makes front page..

Life isn't a scam and being beneficent to others (other than one's parents, siblings and kinship in general) isn't a bad thing too. One needs to be conscientious always . . . just avoid rewarding disloyalty with more altruism or celebrating mediocrity. One of the mistakes most people usually make is terming everyone who comes around them as a friend. Closeness doesn't always/automatically mean oneness or friendship or loyalty.

yeah but some siblings do neglect when you are passing through hard times

When I said it some dimwits here were saying some friends are better than family bla bla...
I learnt this lesson a long time ago and I no longer give anybody money for no reason!
If it's not family or girlfriend,I am not doing it!
Unless of course,it's a valuable relationship I have with the said friend or someone I know has got my back for real too.

Op you can give or help anybody outside your family members,but never expect anything from them. . But always let your parents and siblings come first.. And don't just give anyhow...invest for yourself more,so that in raining days ,you'll find something that will keep you covered..

I learned this in a hard way,but I'm wiser now... Them no dey see friend o,they come around you,because they see something they will gain from you...

As long as your parents are human, they will die one day, they'll leave you, thus is the truth about life
