I want to start learning the language as soon as possible and also write IELTS. Looking forward to summer next year. But the issue I have is, I doubt if I'll be able to save up to the BA amount by summer next year, so I'm looking forward to using a SL.. Does using SL come with any disadvantages?.. Please house, I greet you all. I Got my blocking confirmation from fintiba on Thursday morning and forwarded same that morning. I didn't include my visa receipt number in the mail, rather I included my appointment reference number. My question is does it matter if I include the receipt number or not. And also will the embassy acknowledge receipt of the confirmation?

And how long does it take usually for rejections?

Welcome to the thread.
1. Learning the language and prepping for IELTS is a very good idea.
2. There are no disadvantages that come with SL. It's also a means of sustenance like the BA and a scholarship. So far your sponsor is legit and is capable and willing to sponsor you, you're fine
3. Your HND grade will only come to play if the BSc admission is restricted. But you'll definitely get a spot sha.

There's no discrimination between BA and SL so long the SL is authentic. However, you still need to have some personal cash with you at least to sustain you for 3 - 6 month before you get a student job.

Thank you, i really have done all my documents including passport datapage, i mean all in coloured photocopies. Since no issues, i will use then cos i was thinking it will not be accepted
For the passport, is it not a white backgroung? will everthing be completely black and white?

Go on daad and search for Bsc in your desired course. Note that courses for summer are very limited compared to winter so you might need to extend your search to Google and Wikipedia.
Concerning SL, it has been advised that you only use SL from someone you know/trust so as to avoid getting scammed. I recommend that before you begin to prepare yourself for this German waka, try to sort out the issue of funding.
