Please nairalanders i need turkey expert assistance. Bought 10 turkey yesterday and I am brooding them now. Was in the pen till 2am this morning and woke up this morning 7am. Everything was okay only for to notice that 1 of them could not get up again and later died another follow suit in 2 hours timey.

Please is there anything i can do so i won't have any more mortality

The broilers are all doing very well no mortality

Just decide to do foreign this time around

Are you brooding the turkeys alone or with other birds?. Experience has shown that survival rate is higher when done with other birds.

Am brooding with broilers

Remove the feeders & spread their feed on the floor (make sure the floor is clean). When the broilers start picking the feed, they will follow suit. Reintroduce the feeders as soon as they get used to it. Seems they can't locate the feed in feeders.
