Hello.
I applied for WAEC verification on the 25th of June and it still hasn't gotten to WES. It's already in the 7th week. Does it usually take this long?

Good morning, I need some clarification on submitting requested documents for applying for EOI for Alberta. In the checklist document they required original ECA report, how do I send them original copy if I don't have it, I have only the ecopy sent by Wes. P. S I sent you a pm
Please any other contribution is welcomed.

I hope this isnt too late. They accept copies. Just do a coloured photocopy or printout copy.

i was with her last night and we filled it together, next thing we saw was "profile ineligible"
Me sef i taya.
if anyone can provide solution i will be very much grateful.

Eligibility should be the issue then. Often times we forget that one needs to meet the "67" minimum eligibility scores. A slight change or upgrade in the least score in IELTS module should do the magic.

However, if you succeeded in creating and submitting her profile and you still get the "Profile Ineligible" email, then there must have been something you overlooked while filling profile. Please check properly.

Thanks so much but how long does it takes WES to recieve it

You need to send your Degree Certificate/SoR to WES; either by Postal [delayed&expensive] or via HelloFax [Free, easy&instant]

For HelloFax option see someone's comment on HOW TO;

How to use hellofax to send degree certificate to WES

1. Go to https://www.hellofax.com/
2. Create an account
3. Log in to your account
4. Click the Add File button
5. Browse to the folder where you have your degree certificate
6. Select your degree certificate
7. Click Open
8. Type the WES fax number (+1 416-972-9004) in the "Enter a fax" textbox
9. Click the Send button

Point to Note:
- You can write or type your WES reference number on a small piece of paper and attach to the top of your degree certificate.
- You can use TapScanner app on your phone to snap and change document to PDF before uploading on HelloFax.
- You may also consider SmallPDF website for merging PDF and for other pdf functionalities too.

I hope this is helpful.

If you go 3 pages back, you'll see a post similar to yours, from me to be specific. Read through the two replies while you await others' contributions. WES are not smiling..

An MBA is a Masters degree and will be assessed as such. It is not a professional degree. Master's degrees and professional degrees receive the same number of points according to CIC

I've seen so many posts here of people asking questions that can easily be found using Google search, especially for people who are new to the EE process. Your first port of call should be the CIC (Canadian immigration) website. Make sure you cover the entire page because for each step, they tell you about the documents you need and the bodies you must use to obtain these documents. When you've totally perused the website and you need answers on questions that can't easily be found, you should then proceed to this site to ask questions or search for them here because most of the questions asked have been adequately responded to over the years.

You're right. The passage of time has brought this thread to a crescendo whereby there are barely any unaddressed questions.

You can do it yourself without paying any contact.

Visit The Guardian - Change of Name to get it done. All you need is the scanned copy your Marriage certificate Or Court Affidavit for change of name.

It would cost you N4,056 only and you pay with your card, bank transfer, etc.

Change of Name publications are published on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You would receive a PDF copy of the publication sent to your mail.

Mehn. I applied on 12 July, that means mine isn't even close to being prepared. They told me it takes 1 month while the DHL contact said 6 weeks. Might be useful to visit their office to follow up.

Yes you can claim it as normal work experience as long as you can get a reference letter and there is evidence of payment.

Sharonyeah:
Hello guys, please I have a very important question and I will appreciate if anyone can help with an answer, especially if you have the same experience.
My company partnered with a US based company which I work with but from Nigeria, the US compy pay my salary to the Nigerian compy who then pay me. I can get a reference letter from the US comp to show as evidence that I work with them. I noticed this will earn me 50 more points. Is it okay to claim this.

Maybe it's the POF. I guess it should be in naira and not dollars (if he/she is applying from nigeria).

Which bank has the cheapest cad/naira rate for online fees payment. I hear gtbank should be avoided cos their rates are quite steep even on abokifx. I’m considering zenith or first bank.

Kindly advise

My people, please can I just go ahead with my application using my maiden name and once my passport becomes ready, how do I add it to the

I am also having similar situation. That means the name you used for ielts is the one on your passport which is the maiden name.

As long as there are no mistakes in your name, if you choose to use your maiden name or your husbands name, it's not a bother. Just ensure there is consistency.
In my situation, my passport name that is, my maiden name is the on my bsc while my husband's name is the one on my msc.
In avoiding Nigerian/Abuja immigration wahala, I just continued with my maiden name and if there is any question from anyone, I tender my marriage certificate and newspaper change of name.
Nigerian immigration system with name issues can sometimes give cursing headaches.
All the best.

Don't bother visiting their office. My advice, sit back relax and be calm as long as you followed the process correctly. Mine took almost 2 months and am at the verification stage from lag still chilling with coca cola. My husband naw says he wants to start when am about to finish. So I just fourpled the number of coca cola I am chilling with.
Remember that you still have to start chilling with Pepsi post-ita. Just calm down.

Hi did your friend go to WAEC or she sent by herself? If she sent herself, it would be rejected as not coming from the issuing institution. She has to go to WAEC

I haven't seen any too. But he/she can be the first. If it's postively evaluated, that will set a trend for a new additional certificate.

Stencil:
I thought about this too. I haven't seen anyone on here use it but as a transcript was issued, it might be worth a try.
LadyMarshall, Topsmamen what do you guys think?

Have her send through WAEC. It clear she sent by herself initially.

Good day my people, please how long does it take for WES to acknowledge faxed message? I sent them my Msc and Neco results since Saturday through hellofax and it hasn't been acknowledged till now

NECO results ke! You were only supposed to have submitted your MSc certificate or any certificate for which you are requesting evaluation for.

NECO should be the one to send your results on your behalf. It is well.
