Better camera -in paper rn7 but you will have to see shots for yourself and compare after all Samsung 12mp s10+ has beaten every 48mp xiaomi camera to the point idec about new 64mp in the works.
Better apps-Samsung has galaxy store has a lot of options not to mention more vr apps with the gear vr.
Display - Samsung. (super amoled is far greater than ips lcd)
Performance -rn7 with sd660 although the exynos would be able to play every game a sd660 can equally the sd660 has better CPU and gpu which really won't differ from the Samsung in real time performance.
Connectivity - i think Samsung has more bands.

So that's the facts make your choice before someone comes say take rn7 the phone too sweet die without giving reason or the same for a30

The only area the A30 is better than the Redmi note 7 is just the area of Amoled which isn't even that great as it filled a HD+ not even fhd.
The battery should be tadbit better because of the Amoled screen and the HD + display.

Better camera and cpu understandable but everything you said seemed pretty biased to me.
The rn7 uses a hybrid sim and doesn't come with earphones in box so more things to buy.
The ads can be stopped but i think a phone with no ads to begin with is better as it could be a hassle for someone to stop the ads even if it's two minutes it all depends on the person.
Tweakable aspect depends on who's tweaking.
Replacement of parts would be easier for the a30 due to the availability and no xiaomi phones don't have better resale value than Samsung unless you're talking about American used and stuff like that but note 8 of 2018 is still selling up to 150k on normal market (not nl market which is a blessing) and 120 on jiji.
In a year no one will even buy the k20 for that same price people will be selling it 90k because most nigerians don't even know xiaomi and doesn't have a great brand name as Samsung so less resale value and no the rn7 doesn't charge faster the 15w adaptive fast charging > 18w fast charging the s10+ of 4100 15w adaptive charging fills in 1h33 compared to 1h48 on 18w qc charging and the rn7 comes with 10w charger in box so more to buy again.
Also if you want more memory you'll have to use only one sim.
Again that better design is subjective as the a30 design is better for me and that corning gorilla glass 5 back is still breakable as you've seen when people are selling cracked back phone.
So the redmi beats it in CPU and camera but you can't deny the a30 is better in everything as i wrote here and throughout the post.

Honestly speaking if i was op I'd ignore both and buy a second hand s8+ because it destroys both phones in every aspect except battery but being a 2017 flagship it should still have great optimization because sd835 on the s8+ is better than all these even the exynos version is great .
Honestly everything is subjective in henry007 post way back you can see the a7 2018 beat the pocophone camera which is a little bit on par with the rn7 pro. That's why when i say one is better I'll say on paper because it's subjective.

This is right but i think Samsung has more bands,battery life is equal, redmi 4,64 is more expensive,gorilla glass 3 and could get tempered glass here in Nigeria and both phones have gcam

Snapdragon 712,5000mah,6.53 inch punch hole display ,fhd+ lcd display, triple real cameras ..so amazing
This is probably the best option if you add 6k and can buy from aliexpress or get a trusted nairalander who will help you.

I never said gg5 is aesthetic i sais gorilla glass 5 at the back could break.
Mans just said warranty is useless in Nigeria when you could even take your tecno phone with problem to the store and they'll replace it,samsung won't?warranty is useless indeed.
I know xiaomi is highly valued in China and India because of it's price but it's not even that famous in places like Korea,japan,germany,england or USA unless you're really tech influenced.
