Rear Admiral Adelanwa is a former Chief of Naval Staff(CNS) cc Naptu2. He's the opposite of what the journalists wrote and I can confirm to you that the ratings won't use a machete to fight like they're vigilantes or something in his presence. Not the general that laughs off all issues.

For a Lt(officer) to be sent to resolve the matter, it tells you who the general is. Until the other side tell their story.

He didn’t only park he parked and came back by 9.30pm late at night at a military zone. The guy was lucky he wasn’t locked up especially after warning to not park there. Naval ratings are mostly cool bt if they provoke sorry is ur name.

Even in front of a retired Admirals home.

The truth is that it is wrong to park in front of someone's property contrary to what someone stated above. In my area, you can't park in the street. You want to leave your car in front of my house till 9.30pm. W1hat if the person is a kidnapper or an assassin?
We are all aware of how armed robbers park their cars on the street and lie down in the car monitoring the movements of occupants to know the perfect time to strike.

The action of the naval rating is however uncalled for and he should be punished for the act.. I would have simply told the owner that parking there is not allowed and if he proves stubborn, I will make it clear to him that the car will be towed away.
