Kip kwayet, Nigerian embassies all over the world are equally Nigerian soil and even their local police can not enter any Nigerian embassy to arrest anyone without the authority from the Nigerian government, this is same for other countries all over the world.

No matter what may be more or less to the incident, how come the sovereign Nigerian government has not made any public response till now, at least to assure its citizens both here and in the Congo that all is well and they are in control? There is no right or positive spin to this, it is a diplomatic gaffe and insult that should have been challenged immediately! In fact, a proactive government would have made sure it never even happened because you can be sure that the DRC police did not just wake up to take this action, it must have been brewing so why wasn't it handled properly at diplomatic levels?
