I learnt this today - do NOUN MSc instead. It's one year, reg closes 15 and can be used flr higher points on CRS.

by the way, i do WAEC confirmation of results for a living. If you'd need this done for you, please contact me

Please don't advise people to do NOUN. If you are using NOUN, please have option B because the school can frustrate you. Trust me

Which ECA body is the quickest? Between WES and IQAS?

Please guys don't be offended about my question. I did my eca a long while ago so I'm not sure what's obtainable now.

THANKS

Dear All
Am I correct to assume that wait time for medicals at QLife would be short since ITA Letter is now a precondition for medicals?
Is there anyone who recently booked a date? Kindly share your date so I can gauge how long it would take.

Thanks.
Anybody?

Invest a lot of time into trying out different listening tests especially the cambridge tests. I find that those are the closest to the actual test. Practice a lot of map tests too. Listening was a big challenge to me and I completely understand. Please don't give up. It will end in praise.

I forgot to give an update. He was asked to request for a refund of the wife's biometrics fee that she doesn't need it. They have requested a refund. They both have their PRs, and have landed in Canada already. The wife is indeed lucky as after 3 weeks of submitting her docs and paying her fees they both got PR.

Thanks to all who gave responses to me at different times on this forum. I wish everybody the best in this journey.

@Topsmamen

Topsmamen:

I saw and agree with @ladymarshall's post on this. Let them go ahead and submit their passports. He should also raise a CSE if he has not done that already. It's good that he has done his due diligence and has evidence of emails that he sent.

My guess is that at some point, they will eventually be notified to go for biometrics.

Hello Lola, how are you ? Please I want to find out about the Unilag procedures. My Unilag MSC certificate isn’t ready and will not be ready until next year. I completed my programme March this year. Will an attestation letter suffice in place of my PG degree certificate. Please advise me.

Also, I know I should apply for my transcript online, is the procedure speedy or do I need to meet anyone to ensure it’s treated with urgency. Thank you and all the best

If you are sure that your result has been approved by senate, you can use your statement of result.
You have to apply for transcript online, if you have a contact that can help you to fast track your application, then speak to the person. Otherwise, get yourself busy and wait until your application reads completed. I know of three different people without any contact, it took between one to three months to complete their applications.

You can combine jobs even in different NOCs. As long as it is A, B, 0.
You can combine different professions.
Your degree and work experience do not have to be in the same field.
You can combine different work experiences as long as you already have worked for one year in one of them (People typically use NYSC for this). Eg: You worked NYSC for 1 year. Worked at place B for 2 months, Place C for 5 months and place D for 5 months. Combine all of these to make 12 months. You are probably going to have a sh*t ton of reference letters to get 3 years but hey, whatever gets you to the promise Land.

Hopefully this helps you dig through your life to get that 3 years of experience.

Rence22:

Can I combine two jobs in the same NOC A to make it 3 years.

Only one has to be at least one year long.

PLSHELEP:

I've been corrected. Your job experience can be in more than one profession but each one must be at least a year long.

The requests for additional investigations came as emails from IRCC and from the hospital that did the investigations. The ADRs were not health related. They were for proof that I had access to the funds in my spouse's account (submitted a notarized letter stating this), legal name change documents for my spouse and I, because we changed our middle names at different times (we swore affidavits immediately and submitted), and for my birth certificate (I didn't submit this initially). If you have more questions, you can ask me here, so that others can benefit from our conversation. Thanks.

Thanks very much. It leaves me with ielts redo.
But deep down, I think my results doesn't justify the marks awarded to me. Especially the reading and writing. Can I remark the two?
