we write to honor you in this letter.

Someone please summarize.
I believe it's some form of ash licking.
I read from beginning to the end.
The igbos are wiser. The letter was the history of how the fulanis who had no part in Nigeria came in and by virtue of peace loving hausas they were accommodated and they eventually held power till date.this group of yorubss are not begging but saying they are ready for war but wouldn't prefer it.
The accepted that the fulanis have circled them ,rape kill abduct etc.
Pls let me stop here.
Obassnjo is more clever than many Yoruba leaders.

Thanks for responding in a civil manner bro.

Firstly, Yorubas supported Jonathan en mass after the death of Yaradua when he was still an acting president. Remember the likes of Soyinka, SNG, Gbajabiamilas, even Sahara Reporters with the constant awareness on the need for Jonathan to assume the presidency seat.

Forward to 2011, we voted for him over the ACN candidate, infact I can still remember that most people in my area that gave birth to new babies then named their children Goodluck coz of the love we had for Jonathan. Osun was the only state that ACN won in the SW in 2011 and that was due to the Aregbesola factor because the people loved Aregbe so much that they thumb ACN from top to bottom on the ballot.

Let’s be factual bro, Jonathan squandered the goodwill and he wasn’t strong enough as a president to checkmate his comrades coz they all looted without conscience. Boko haram menace in the NE coupled with the chibok girl kidnap is among the many sins of Jonathan.

Let’s imagine, there is constant bombing in the SE and SW, and people are dying daily due to terrorist attacks and the terrorist already captured 12 local governments, in all sincerity will you vote for Jonathan again?? It’s justified to vote Jonathan out in 2015, as the mantra was anybody but Jonathan.

Forward to 2019, honestly I regret that the Yoruba voted for Buhari again, although the results are close coz atiku won 2 states in the SW, but with the ineptitude of Buhari he shouldn’t have been re-elected. But honestly Atiku wasn’t an option too, they are both bird of a feather and that’s what made people feel divided on who to really vote for.

Let’s be honest, each region is trying as much to become relevant and we are all just been hypocrites coz even with the 16years of PDP misrule, the Igbos made sure they vote PDP in majority whether they perform or not. The Yoruba in the same hypocrisy does the same in with Buhari because we thought our interest will be protected in APC.

About the Yorubas and Igbos constant animosity towards one another, I really don’t know what went wrong coz we’ve coexisted in peace without any killings of any sort among eachother in our history, it’s just an innate competition to best eachother and to brag over each others achievement.

To be honest I’m not sure there can be peace between the Yorubas and Igbos anytime soon coz the hatred has percolated through the main fabrics of our existence, both young and old hold some grudges against one another across both tribes, and the hate is mutual.

Politically, we have different ideologies, and we express our grievances in different way. While some perceive the other’s expression as cowardice, the other view the expression as chestbeating. It’s a clash between two ideological mindset. Only God can bring peace among us.

Peace bro!
the thing is...while we fight each other, the hausa/fulani continues to advance their goal of overriding the country.

There used to be natives in australia...they looked asian and blackish...but today australia is a white country. The natives were gradually killed and assimiliated. Thats wat the north wants to do to south while we bicker

The only way to stop it is to either divide the country or take power from them with the help of MB and flip the script on them. Do to them exactly wat they wanted to do to us

To be honest, it’ll be hard to muster the vote number to displace the north by the south. The configuration of Nigeria does not favor the south, hence the north will always be the kingmakers in Nigeria so far we maintain this form of democracy.

We need a strong southerner to become the president, someone brave enough to challenge the current Fulani domination on Federal parastatals and all arm of government. The north wield so much power due to their population and they have their men in strategic places so it’ll be hard for any southerner to become president without the consent of the North.

To break up Nigeria is not that easy and my fear is that the politicians across both divide will sabotage it coz a fractured Nigeria will limit the bandwidth of how much they can loot and plunder.

The elite politicians are the main people destroying this country either Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa. They become saviors while out of power but becomes tyrant while in power. We are all just pawn in their game of chess.

I’m sure a southerner will be the president in 2023, coz the north knows its dangerous for the stability of Nigeria for them to extend power more than 8years in a row.

The fulanis are the only safe humans in Nigeria..
All ethnic group must come together to fight this menace..
We must first be honest and sincere with ourselves..with out being scare of powers that be...

Otherwise someday in the future..we will wake up to the fact ..that Nigeria is a fulani Islamic country...

Coming from Odua...let all ethnic groups in Nigeria write same and forward to sultan..

Will serve as wake up call to fulanis...when they understand that the war the bring can be serve to them ...

They alone don they cook for the whole country ..from North to south...east to west.. and we've been eating... silently...

But when we all decide to cook for them...hope they will eat..

Think every ethnic group has to mirrow the fulanis... slaughter their families..kill their cows ..burn their huts ..slay their old ones....found in any part of the country alien to them.... Is all about ethnic boundaries.

That way..they will come to realise that what a fulanis herdsmen can do... A Yoruba cocoa farmer can do much better...a tiv yam farmer will perfect more ..an igbo business man will Excel..

Let's give them ..the same fear .. they're bringing...

One tiny tribe from nowhere can keep 200 million Nigerians to ransome..

This letter must be repeatedly written by all ethnic groups as a forewarning to the sultan...

The issue with Nigeria is not the Fulanis, it unfortunate to say the Igbos and Yorubas are the main problems Nigeria is not moving forward and this has been giving the Fulanis to do what they want. They can treat Yorubas the way they want because they know the Igbos will applaud such act as vengeance for Yorubas role in civil war despite the fact that manyYoruba supported Igbos during the war, house them, protected them or even fought along with them. They won't remember that Fajuyi choose to die to protect Ironsi, rather they see Yorubas as traitor.
Yorubas, see Igbos as selfish, unreliable when it comes to political alliance and unrepentantly domineering.
Armed with such information, the Fulanis finds it easy to manipulate the South to get what they want in Nigeria at the expense of others.

The only solution and indeed a fast one that will send fear down to thrones in the North is not this type of letter, it is a reconciliation meeting between the Yoruba leaders and Igbos leader with other ethnic minorities in South not taking sides but facilitating reconciliation between all. Thereafter, a joint communiqué of this nature above to FGN, Fulanis , ECOWAS, AU and UN with deadlines will cause the desired reactions.

That reconciliation is an impossibility with Yoruba Muslims still around. Needless to create hope where none exists.

If Nigeria will be free from Fulanis control, the two tribes must sincerely reconcile, put together a workable relationship, enlighten Thier youths to stop social media attack on each other then face the Fulanis.
As per FFK, remember, his political pedigree is of no consequence in Yorubaland, only the leadership of two tribe can do this. The likes of Woke Soyinka, OBJ, Prof Ben Akabueze,Jim Nwobodo,Former Commenwealyh Scribe,,Ooni and Alaafin, The Obi of Onitsha, Champion Publisher, etc. Will start with reconciliation meeting, silently set agenda and politically set to dismantle the military structure put in place by the likes of Abacha and IBB to protect the Fulanis and invade the South.

You left out Tinubu who enjoys massive followership in the SW. How can that be possible?

it's obvious you know. Buh there can never be any form of romance between igbos and yorubas. Everyone will fight their separate battle. The only problem we are still facing here in the west is how our people have choosed to be liberal caused by their exposure to education. They still do not see the reason why we need to go away from Nigeria and go our separate way, i'm glad the fulanis are exposing many of them to it with their recent attack on our lands. The day every yoruba persons in Nigeria and outside Nigeria realize the importance of going away from this nonsense country, that very day the end of this nation will come. We will not go into war with any one, no blood will be sacrificed other than the ones will sacrificed through abiola and co for this useless country.

Many of our people benefit from this country and even when they are in the dark, they believe we can still push back to light because the odd is not against the yoruba tribe. For every yoruba soul to understand the need to break away from Nigeria is all i have been praying for and will continue praying about.

The yorubas and igbos cannot work together for several reasons.

The igbos don't trust politicians unlike the yorubas who easily and blindly follow any politician.

Religion is also another factor. The yorubas might be comfortable with Islam but we've seen so much about Islam to not even want anything to do with Islam.

The pain the igbo nation have passed through were mostly caused by people with affiliation with Islam....

Trust is another factor.
This mentality caused d death of millions of igbo during d biafra war. Awolowo knew strength of d northerners and Nigerian army . he warned Ojukwu but it was falling on his deaf ears .Igbo are more vulnerable working alone . but they still repeatedly make that mistake .
I see igbo more threat to the yoruba nation than fulanis
