OET is an alternative test of English that was designed for healthcare professionals. It is relatively easier to prepare for and has been shown to have higher success rate than ielts.
This thread is for those who have written/passed OET and those who are preparing to write it. Let’s get in here to help ourselves.
I wrote the test on 20 July and I had the desired grade in all the tasks, despite what I will consider as light preparation.
As we all know that the writing and speaking task in OET is profession-specific, the listening and reading is same. So, this thread is aimed at creating more awareness about the test, sharing useful materials and tips that will help candidates in the test. We can also upload our writing tasks for correction by those with better knowledge of English.
It is advisable that intending candidates source for more information regarding OET, if the result will be useful for the desired purpose. As of now, it’s not accepted yet in the US and Canada.

In Nigeria right? As at last month, I heard it’s fully booked till October. Once you see November on the list of available dates, you should be able to book it. You can retry or contact them.

Go through the kaplan textbook on oet for tips and watch youtube videos. I'll recommend videos by Jay of e2 language. You might also need to practice your speaking skills with someone, You'll do well.
