After tax the capital flight returned compared to both countries is large with sa having more

Depending on where you are sitting, mtnNG is listed on the Nigerian stock exchange therefore the company itself is more of Nigerian than south African...the likes of shoprite are individually owned...an avarage south African doesn't benefit anything hence you can say the difference with an avarage Nigerian as it impacts the employment stats!

This is commendable and long overdue.
But I doubt the capacity of Buhari to handle any matter of great importance as this. If he is unable to settle issues of killings and arm bandits in Nigeria then there is no need for the charades!!!
Let’s just fold our hands and wait hoping the vegetables disappoints us!

See this confirmed idiot. Your illiterate of a father is not even qualified to polish his shoes.
Your president is going to save your tribe from going extinct in SA due to the rubish crime you and your family are used to.
And to think these are the hypocrites we see in church daily.
See the nonsense in the idiots profile

Apples and oranges. You don’t know a thing about governance grin Don’t make me laugh.

And even though I don’t like Buhari, he is a trained leader. Just like every General. Plus he has led this country in two separate tenures now.

But again. I don’t like him. And that’s my own problem.

PRESIDENT BUHARI, SOUTH AFRICA RAMAPHOSA AGREE TO MEET ON CONSULAR, TRADE ISSUES

President Muhammadu Buhari and South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, will meet in October to discuss issues relating to wellbeing of citizens and ways to further strengthen trade relations between the two largest African economies.

In a telephone conversation with the South African leader at his country home in Daura, Katsina State, President Buhari accepted an invitation to visit the country to further “consider recurrent issues concerning wellbeing of the Nigerian community in South Africa, and the need to promote trade and investment.’’

In an earlier letter of invitation, the South African President said:

“Your visit will provide an excellent opportunity for our sister countries to further consolidate and advance our strategic partnership and cooperation on matters of peace, security and socio-economic development in our continent.

“We will discuss issues of mutual interest and concern in global governance.’’

President Ramaphosa said the meeting will provide an opportunity to inaugurate a Bi-national commission for both countries to “effect the strategic decisions taken in 2016 to elevate it to the level of Heads of State.’’

WATS d population of SA compared to Nigeria?

Its not about population, its about the strength of the economy. You seem to underestimate south Africa. They have got one of the strongest economy if not the strongest in Africa.
Read up about the country. Do you know they have got nuclear weapons? South Africa has been existing before the country was handed over to blacks and even at that the whites still run most of their economy.

The earlier the better for both countries, the African Giants

There is only one natural giant in Africa and that is Nigeria. The problem is that we are yet to get that leader that will drive or project our potentials for the whole world to see. What J F Kennedy said about Nigeria during the independent was not a mistake.

We are not like the rest of other Africans. We are smart, intelligent, industrious and very 'rugged'. We are the true Africans!

Lol, u think other countries don't read news on how Nigerians are slaughtering their fellow Nigerians? These countries don't respect us becus they know we are totally unorganized, with poor infrastructure. It is simple, u stop traveling to SA.

But we can't stop because our own country is a mess. Lol. They know na. How many south Africans do u see struggling to come here? Those that are here are part of multi-national firms doing legit business and helping our economy.

Nigeria does not even have a cable network to challenge multi choice. We can't do without super sport sef. Lol.

My brother, if u don't fix ur house, no one will fix it for u.

If u need respect, Nigerian leaders must respect her citizens first.
No be for this country some people call others immigrants? Abi u think south Africans don't read our posts on nairaland to see how much we hate our selves?

Hahahaha, Nigeria is the funniest country ever. And we actually want other countries to accept crime like we have accepted here. Too bad.

respect....i dont need their fvcking respect .they can stick it up their south african butts....!!

am sayin they should back the fvck of....!!

Don't deceive your self bro, the number of SA citizens living in Nigeria is quite neglible compared to the Nigerian citizens in SA. There are many Nigerians living and doing legitimate jobs in SA, some are into various businesses, some drugs businesses and etc.

If you do a Swot analysis between the two countries, and cut ties Nigeria will loose.
You think they don't have these facts? That's basically why the government of SA don't really care about how Xenophobia affects Nigerians in SA.

What Nigeria needs is strategic plan, and to boost their internal socio-economic welfare, etc.

Nigeria don't love itself or care for its citizens so how do expect other countries to regard its citizens?
Look at how even Ghana that use to eat Crumbs in Nigeria is now treating Nigerians now.

that is the most foolish excuse i have heared till now....

sooo, because we dont love ourselves thats why its allowed to kill us....!!??

bullcrap....

Abegi, Nigerians, I know us very well. I know how we dey do. My neigbor was in Tanzania last year for vacation, she was told how Nigerians come there to do fraud, spoil their youths and engage in bloody human trafficking. There are simply a few decent Nigerians out there. Majority are simply after quick way to make money.

I support any country using every means to defend her society before it gets to Nigerian level where someone given the job to fight corruption will be there looting as well.

Yeye country.

Lol, then they should stop going there na. If u ask them to return, they will refuse. lol

Naija problems are already too much. We cant even save our selves here. Nigerians kill them selves more in Nigeria than anywhere else in the world.

Also, some of those killings in SA are done by fellow Nigerians when drug deals go wrong. Abeg, we have plenty problems here already. Innocent Nigerians have not really had issues in SA. They live fine and mingle well. These things usually happen to drug dealers, internet fraudsters and human traffickers. And sadly, most are done by fellow Nigerians.
