Good evening my gurus in the house .....i wrote ielts with my wife and we both scored awful results..... Me:LRWS 7,6,6,7.5 overall 6.5 my wife: LRWS 6.5,6.5,6,7.5 overall 6.5......we both have bsc
My questions
1....do we have any chance to getting in the pool? Or should we just better save money to write another ielts?
2.....i registered for WES but havent paid and haven't uploaded any cert because I felt we should get the ielts right first
My gurus... What do we do?.... Prepare for another ielts?

hello, you and your wife did well with this as first try trust me.
you can practice more and go for ielts again (especially the principal applicant).
but start the ECA process for both of you as you will need all the points you can get. ECA takes time...so start it..don't wait till IELTS is cleared.

It's people like you that fail because you believe you know it all.

also the scores are ok to enter the pool with though total score will be lower than what it would be with a higher ielts score. but who knows you could get PNP NOI while in the pool. complete the ECA....remember WAEC will take like 4-8 weeks to be ready, your universities will also take time to get transcripts sent...

My people Una good evening Ooo grin
Long time no saw cheesy
Congratulations to all the PPR clinchers even though it seems rather very very slow this days.. sad

My fellow 440 brethren, this CRS isn't smiling at all.. If you have not maxed out, try maxing out your IELTS..if your spouse has neither written nor evaluated assuming he's accompanying, the time is now.
Get additional degrees, certificate.
Me i am sha learning French.
Whatever it is you can do to increase your scores. Tweak you JDs to suit the occupations of provincial nomination. Sponsor a sibling and claim points.. If to have your ECA and old Ielts result please jump into the pool.

Whatever you are doing, please do fast.. We can only hope and pray that the liberals win the elections and EE won't go any time soon. Please do not give up.
It will end in praise.

UnA doh.

Lady Marshall, I am earnestly awaiting your PPR and in no distant time we shall celebrate you. Cheers to you and others waiting. It's almost over smiley

Good morning Elders in the House,

Thanks for all your useful information and advises.

Just got my IELTS result,my band score was 6.5,is it ok to go ahead and create an express entry profile now and update with a better result when I write a retake in two weeks time or should I wait till I get a better band score.

Please,I am awaiting your kind response.

The guys score is 1033 (Ontario PNP). So i think @gsade's advice is still cool.

cc: homextras, gsade

hayoakins:

LOE will not address this kind of issue if his recomputed score will be lower than the draw for which he for ITA. It is simply misrepresentation as it has direct impact on the score. Age plays a major part in CSR allocation. It is better for him to reject the ITA.

The probability of being rejected should he accept the ITA is high and he may also be winking at a 5year ban for mispresentation for selfish gain.

He may however accept if when the score is recomputed based on the real age it will not be less than the draw for which he was issued ITA.

Yes, you can if you don't have less than 6 in any of the modules. In other words, the minimum score is 6 in all modules to be eligible to create a profile. Plus, is your ECA ready? If not, you'll need it to create an express entry profile.

Hello Everyone.

I am new to this and I have read the whole damn thread phewww‍♀️
I have a question. I want to go with my husband. I am the principal applicant and I understand that he must also take the IELTS exam. But, must he do ECA?
Also, does he need to open an EE profile?

Thank you for your response

Have you simulated your CRS? If your score is high enough to fetch you ITA, he may not need ECA. If not, then he 'll need ECA.

Secondly, he doesn't need to create an EE profile. His details will be included in your profile.

Stop insulting someone who’s telling you the truth. It’s either you do not know how to use google or you just don’t care for it. There’s some basic questions like the one you asked that just end up clogging the thread. Google has even tried, most times, they summarize the answer nicely at the top. Again, I got this in under 5 seconds.

Same with the Nairaland search bar.

use the crs tool to simulate using your scores an 8777( for PA). Bsc alone too is not enough these days

Yemblaze has already done justice to your question.

Also note that 40 points only are allotted to your spouse in the following way:

Education: 10
IELTS : 20
Canadian work experience :10

So he/she can realistically contribute 30points.

Dear house,

I know the minimum IELTS score we should aim for is 8777 but I just got mine at 9,7,6.5,8

Can I go ahead to apply or should I ask for a remark of the R and W or just sit for another exam?

Thank you

Please house..How long does Wes take to evaluate Acca..they keep updating everyweek since early july and we are really tired. The struggle for ITA is really real.
I think that ACCA is the fastest to evaluate, compared with other certificates. Have you confirmed from your tracking number that WES has received the transcript?
