When he was at a decent club we were the ones chasing him . now the tables have turned. it's okay.
Na so life bi. But we just to forgive him now that he has released his mistake.

Akpom is a good choice.
There are players who are far more deserving than him and in all honesty after multiple opportunities in England in three different division he was very disappointing.

He then goes to Belguim and has his best score tally of 6 in 16 games.

IMO not good enough just yet.

Awoniyi is more deserving and many others.

That's fine.. But seriously, Chuba Akpom? The guy had d chance to play for us long ago but was forming bobo. He is doing well in Greece no doubt, but we have better players in his position...
That's not true.

Nwawkeme was completely written off by some people here after one game...as for Eduok, some didn't care . Now they want Akpom...lol.
well like I said d other day,I want Rohr to try out a lot of new players with that Ukraine game.. Akpom being called up isn't bad .but those who performed better than him last season and currently shouldn't be ignored because they aren't foreign born..

However,I think this week is too early to release the list..club football has just started.. Unless Rohr is planning to use last season performance as a yardstick for the call ups...
If you want Akpom and you dont want Nwakaeme or eduok then you are bias, just only one bad game and dude was written of, can you imagine

Yes so many forwards performed better than him last season and they shouldnt be ignored

Bitrus Bewarang, the Technical Director of Nigeria Football Federation, has revealed that Glasgow Rangers star Joe Aribo stands a chance of earning a call-up to the Super Eagles for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

With Chelsea legend Obi Mikel calling time on his international career last month, manager Gernot Rohr and his lieutenants are searching for his replacement and the ideal candidate has to be playing for a top Champions League club, effectively ruling out the likes of Oghenekaro Etebo, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi.

One of the traditional clubs in the United Kingdom, Rangers are competing in this season's Europa League but they are a club with Champions League pedigree, having represented Scotland on thirty occasions.

Aribo has been pivotal in Rangers' success in the Europa League, scoring three goals in his last four matches.

''I will send his name and the club he's playing for to Gernot Rohr,'' said Bewarang to allnigeriasoccer.com.

''Every Nigerian player is a potential national team player if they are doing well in their clubs.

''What we require is that let the coaches spread their tentacles to such clubs and watch such players.''

Born in London, Aribo who celebrated his 23rd birthday last month, says he's open to representing the Super Eagles if approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.

Agreed

We have players better than him in his position

Some people want him to be invited just because he is english, if na our normal naija player some people go say na back water league e dey play

He scored 6 goals in 20 league games last season, we have players that have done better than that
Hahahaha! But he is playing for their Champion. grin

Nwakaeme is not a striker. I don't know why the national team invited him and played in that position.

Thanks for reminding me of odey, i just want him to settle at his new club because he is yet to play 90 minutes, but i beleive soon as he is a new signing and we will get to also watch him in the champions league.

Akpom has not done nothing much, 6 goals in 20 league games last season, lets see what he will do this season

We want akpom but when emem eduok dey turkey we no see am oo and turkey is far better than greece if i am to compare

Even nwakaeme is doing so well at turkey with goals and assist and he is playing as a winger

We have better players than akpom abeg
Is Eduok a striker?

I would take Akpom and Eduok over a 30years old Nwakaeme.

Akpom and Eduok may still have something to offer the team as they progress but Nwakaeme undecided

People saying he was wrongly sidelined after one game. A game he started and played almost 90mins. There are certain players you have to give another opportunity before you make a conclusive statement on them and there are some that just 10mis on the pitch and you are already made up.

Nwakaeme, from that Algeria game didn't look like a Super Eagles material.

Has he not been invited? I clearly recall I have seen his name on the list at some point in the last two years, maybe the coach didn't see any use for him then.

If hr has a change of heart, nothing wrong with inviting Odey, but it should have little to no bearing on Akpom's invite

.
Not that i even want eduok to be invited, he has gone to croatia to make it worst

After just one game you can judge a player? Just because he is not your favorite player you want to judge him with one game abi? if so ighalo will not be in the national team

Sorry sir i wont take you serious because of that

Thank you

In his defence that pitch was poor on the day. None of our forwards got adjusted that night

Even on a poor pitch you should still see flashes of Brilliance. Was that pitch as bad as the Steven Keshi stadium pitch in Asaba?

Lol

But na you bring sentiment nah and its very clear

You watch nwakaeme played just 1 game and you are already saying he is not an eagles material

If nwakaeme is not being invited i understand that they are many youngsters not because he is not an eagles material

Should i mention players who didnt do well in their eagles first few games?

Na so. So that on the eve of a WC they will start throwing in names of untested young players after they discover the old players have lost steam.

This is the best time to introduce those young players and select the best from them as we build towards the next world cup!
