Hello ma, have you succeeded in rectifying the high prolactin? High prolactin is a hindering factor to conception. Unlike you, I ovulate (confirm using ovulation test strips and slight mid cycle bleeding) and menstruate regularly. I also never had any breast discharge yet I was diagnosed with high prolactin. I am currently on treatment. I am hoping the good Lord grant us all our heart desires soonest.

Abeg make una help me torch light this my result. Today is cd 15 of a 28-29 days cycle. Haven't been ovulating past months cos of hyperprolactinemia. Took letrozole this cycle to achieve this. But my doc is skeptical cos I'm still having little breast discharge. I want to take progesterone supplements cos of luteal phase defect. What should I do next?

I learnt dostinex is more effective and has less side effects. That’s what I was placed on. You can speak to your doctor about the drug. Do not self medicate.

Before I started seeing the discharge. I was ovulating so says my strips. After 2 consecutive ovulation cycle yet no show I knew something was wrong. Next cycle I started folliculometry using tvs. I found out that I wasn't ovulating cos the follicle never get to rupture. The strips were just detecting the LH surge. This was what led to hormonal profile assay before the brezz began discharging fluid. Since then I have been on medications and it has stopped for weeks only for me to press hard again it just dropped... I was like what the....

Go with long cloths, soap, two small towel, spirit, cottonwool, pad, hair net, one big towel, slippers, under wears, flask for reserving warm water and so on.......

Advice: don't use cream because of the chemical used, don't lift heavy things, try and take a walk within your ward for a least 20minutes daily, when you start taking liquid try and take warm water. Please take enough water, apples, pears and vegetables for fast recovery

So I went to the scan center for the HSG, getting there I was told to sit and after a while I was administered an injection to ease the future pain. After some minutes I was called into the X-ray room to begin the procedure. I was hinted a little on the process and I agreed. Hmmm... It happened, my worst fear happened. I no gree open leg... This mama couldn't bear the pain, it was hell... Did I say they hadn't even inserted the plastic inside and I couldn't bear the pain. They stopped at a point and encouraged me but it wasn't just happening. It felt like trying to open a concrete wall. I cried and screamed and finally it entered. They allowed me catch my breath, in the process of opening up the plastic so the can inject the fluid the plastic broke that was when they all gave up on me.
Hubby was with me all along. Words cannot explain how I felt and how I'm feeling typing this. I really don't understand what's wrong with me I feel so bad right now. I tried to encourage myself that I'm doing this for my babies but it wasn't working. Hubby told them to reschedule it and I'll have to pay more money that I don't even have. I felt so bad for him.
Please forgive me for writing this long post it wasn't intentional, I just had to pour out my heart somewhere.

Cherishyy sorry dear. It happens to some women. If you had continued with the HSG in such a condition, the final results would most likely be compromised. That is even if you didn't have blocked tubes, they may have seen blocked tubes due to spasm or your shaking upandan. It's not your fault dear. Your pain threshold may just be very low.

For now, why don't you forget about doing HSG. At least for the main time. You can be doing things to help unblock tubes incase yours are blocked or have fluid in them. Simple things like castor oil massage on the pelvis every night except during fertile n luteal phase. Add warm water or warm water with lemon or apple cider vinegar every morning before food. Before you know, you may conceive without needing the HSG again depending on if that's your only challenge. HSG though important in fertility investigations is just a test not a solution. My opinion.

The issue of of the myoma seedlings, even though I was told that they were insignificant, pushed me to seek for solution.

In October last year, I started with Vitex, Clean point tampons,Acid Cider Vinegar,detox,massaging with castor oil and blackstrap molasses. All of these I got from a mama here after I called her on phone and told her the result of my scan. I finished them in three months and never went for scan again nor did anything again.

To cut long story,when I went for my first scan now that I'm pregnant there was no myoma or anything apart from my baby seen in my uterus.

If you have problem you can air it here because there are mamas that can help out.

Oh mama! God bless your heart for your kind words. I've done pelvic scan,hvs and hormonal profile, everything came out clean. HSG was the last on the list given to me by my gyne. I believe what you said I'll concieve without hsg. Today is my cycle day 10. Can I start taking the warm water and lemon or apple cider vinegar today?
