Junior Pius' Royal Antwerp advance to the next round in Europa League qualification by virtue of an away goal rule at the expense of Czech's Plzn, who parade former NIgeriaU23 forward Ubong Ekpai. By coincidence, both players were sidelined by injury.

David Okereke has insisted he still has a lot to prove despite a flying start at new Belgian team Club Brugge.

The striker has scored four goals in three league appearances and also helped the Belgian club reach the UEFA Champions League playoffs.

“This is the result of hard work. I can be happy with how things are going now. But that’s no reason to start feeling comfortable,” said the former Spezia of Italy star.

“Keeping my head down and working on, that’s what I have to do because I can do even better. And I still have a lot to prove.

“I just know I have to try and help the team.

“At the end of the season there is enough time to celebrate.”

Okereke also maintained he will not set a personal goals target even after his sensational start.

“I have no target in mind,” he said.

“I just want to help the team as often as possible. And if that’s with goals, so much the better.”

Ligue 1 side FC Nantes have the option to buy Moses Simon for 5 million Euros on a permanent basis after the winger’s loan spell from UD Levante.

Last year, the former youth international cost Levante 3.5 million Euros when he signed from Belgian club KAA Gent.

The 24-year-old winger, who has won 28 caps with Nigeria, is the eighth signing by the French club.

He is a direct replacement for new signing Marcus Coco, who has suffered a long-term injury.

Ghana international Majid Waris from FC Porto was widely linked with Nantes before they eventually settled for Simon.

Kenneth Omeruo has welcomed the signing of fellow Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem by CD Leganes, saying the FC Porto loanee will add quality to La Liga club.

“Awaziem is a quality player and a good addition to Leganes,” Omeruo told SCORENigeria

“He truly has the quality to shine at the club and I wish him a successful stay in Madrid.

“I am very happy for him, he’s my brother and also my teammate in the national team.”

Omeruo and Awaziem battled side-by-side as the Super Eagles finished third at the recent AFCON in Egypt.

Both defenders were also at last year’s World Cup in Russia.

Despite the hate people here have for ighalo I don't think they used to troll him on club football, ighalo only have few bad months before his move to china

Watford fans will never forget him ,me I am still waiting for a Nigeria striker that will give me 15 Epl goal just as ighalo have done ,only 2 Nigeria strikers have the potentials to do so for now

Trabzonspor don qualify sha

To be sincere I like Moses Simon but I don't like this move but I am still happy for Nigeria football

If Simon had joined nantes from gent then it's better ,but maybe his little struggles at Levante caused all this ,but why can't he get a laliga team ,anyway what do I know ,at least French league is better than Belgium and turkey ,thou I call it farmers league sha

I am more interested in the farmers keague now because of osimhen, kalu and Moses Simon

What is tribal reasoning?

See this tribalist talking about tribal reasoning.

Where you not the one that brought tribalism and tribal reasoning to this thread, beginning from the last Olympic thread?

Do you want me to expose you once again?

You know you can never deceive me because I already know who you are.

If you are given the chance to be in the position of a coach, I know what to expect from a bigot like you.

just because you can't call ROHR a tribalist

you should be ashame of yourself...and to think that you were quoting the Bible the other day and now throwing insults without caution tells more of your kind of person..

Look at this hypocrite and double standard fellow.

Humility017, you are a renowned TRIBALIST. A VERY BIG FAT ONE FOR THAT MATTER.

If you Humility017 can call your PRESIDENT TRIBALIST, why are you preaching against calling AGU a confirmed TRIBALIST?

You have hidden your identity until now but I am still going to expose you big time.
