I have completed about 75% of the form. I wont do the police report until I have scheduled my interview.
I hope you get your case number soon. If we have similar noa2 I believe your case number is not far days from now. Ensure to check on them between now and Tuesday next week.

I think it depends on who you speak to, my noa2 was July 24th ,called last week they said could take 6- 8weeks,they were in a hurry to go one was even asking when we got noa2 before checking if they hace our case.

My fiancée called yesterday someone nice answered and said case arrived on Tuesday and still said to be patient everything can take 8 weeks , I believe 8 weeks means having case number and shipping to local embassy. So they received on Tuesday ,hopefully we get case number on the phone Monday .

@glorioussugar you had your noa2 before me, although cases are different but I believe your case has arrived nvc already ,call them Friday/Monday you should get good news.

I doubt that. U need to go in only with the documents you are required to take in there.

Keep every other thing in your car or leave them at home.

Though it seems there might be one or two shops around there where you can keep your phone & stuff like that, for a fee.

Yes you can, you have to pay 1k or so and you will be given a key.

Let him call them and explain to them. They will send him an email once your case is shipped to the embassy here.

Regarding the public charge rule.

He called again today. And was told they just recieved our file 2 days ago. And it’s not in the system yet. That he can only update email when the file is in the system.

If you were born before 1992, they usually issue attestation of birth and not the actual birth certificate. But those after 1992 don't have problem. I was told NPC can issue birth certificate for those before 1992 if you discuss with them. Submitting only attestation of birth to USCIS is not advisable.

I did my attestation of birth and declaration of age in 2011 I was in Adamawa state then. I later realized there was a mistake in my name spelling on the declaration of age but the attestation of birth is correct.

I am currently in Lagos and did a sworn affidavit for age declaration at the magistrate Court.

My question is, can I use the sworn affidavit and the NPC attestation of birth only?

I dont think there's any such thing as packet 3 from NVC, the embassy send you one when you email them after they receive your file. I've received the email from NVC and case is already in transit to the consulate.

Yeah they sent me an email cos I updated my information as an applicant, just as @legitbachelor suggested, with a little message about what I wanted them to do when they sent out the case. They sent to her too cos she updated as petitioner. For me, he should call back in less than a week.
