Wilson Raj Perumal is a notorious match fixer. He fixes matches for Asian betting syndicates. He has been jailed in several countries and he believes that it was his match fixing gang that turned on him and ensured that he was jailed.


Therefore, he told the police about his match fixing activities and also wrote a book about it.

He claimed that he fixed matches in the football tournament at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. He also said that he helped Nigeria and Honduras to qualify for the 2010 World Cup. He said that he tried and failed to fix several English Premier League matches. He was also involved in match fixing scandals in Singapore and Finland.


It is alleged that Samson Siasia agreed to accept bribes from him, but it is not specified whether the bribes were actually paid.

Engagement in acts of corruption or otherwise is a matter of choice. He made a choice that has come to ruin him. Corruption has kidnapped Siasia for life!

This issue has nothing to do with the kidnapping of Siasia's mother. Siasia's mother was kidnapped in July, while FIFA innitiated disciplinary proceedings against Siasia on February 11th.

In fact, I suspect that the incident that they were investigating occurred years ago.

The last U20 side the bloke paraded was one of the worst in this country's footballing history and even back then there were rumours that most of those suckers who donned the green and white in that World Youth Championship held in Egypt (I think) paid their way into the team. Siasia is an unrepentant bribe-taker. Away with him!

Guys that fix matches make massive amounts of money. It's the betting company that loses big.

However, the size of that loss might be tempered by the fact (my suspicions though) that such crooked scores are already built into the system to mitigate losses just the same way everyone pays a higher premium to cover insurance fraudster.

As much as I don't support what he did, such manipulate didn't start today and I don't know of any other persons involved that such ban has been imposed. I hope it's not because he's a Nigerian.

From the above claim by FIFA it infers that he boldly, with no fear of any, to receive bribes if offered.

In plain words he said I will collect bribes given or offered to me irrespective of your stipulated code of conduct. Who your code of conduct help?

Am just processing and interpreting what is stated in the epistle to Mr. Samson Siasia.

Am really surprised this is happening to Mr. Samson Siasia at this level of his professional career. He is not the only one guilty of this act. There are many of them in sports, music, government and political industries. Even among family members. I really sympathize with him and his family and those affected by his ban, directly or indirectly. I hope the ban will be lifted soon in the near future.

If you are also guilty of receiving bribes, don't comment. Don't cast a stone at him.
