Nairaland is a snitch, we ain't safe anymore I'm sure when consulted they gave the fbi all the dudes info.
Why would I need Nairaland's assistance when many of you wilfully and willingly showcase your entire life on social media?

I've seen the telephone number of many who have insulted me on this forum.

I've linked it to a name.

I've gone to their Facebook page and found they are kids or poverty stricken at which point I lose the zeal for vengeance.

Its not Nairaland that led to his arrest. If you read the full report, you will see that he has been under surveillance. His fraudulent dealing with Unatrac got him exposed, not his Nairaland post.
they don't know. they already had his mail, so it couldn't have been it

Baba nairaland was one of the reasons he was busted.

Apart from giving away his mail which must matched the email given to the FBI by Google. he had his profile pictures on nairaland.

He also gave away his office address in Nigeria, his address while studying in Australia on nairaland.

Frankly speaking, a rookie agent could have busted him. He gave away so much information on nairaland
Oh I see

Na wa o

Even if it was Nairaland that led to his arrest, I think it's a welcome development. No evil doers shall go unpunished.

OK, good. There are other emails linked to him. What led to his arrest was the report Unatrac sent to FBI and not his post here
Oh Lord.

Something leads to something.

Are you scared of your past?

The way you are worried is sort of concerning

Just read the fraudsters posts and threads on NL. Something stands out- he seemed intelligent from the way he interacted with people on here. Perhaps he started out clean, hence why he was so bold to share his social media handles and e mail address, without thinking.

Obviously along the way, he met with some bad guys that influenced him negatively. Reason why he became a less frequent poster on NL.

This reply sounds dumb somehow.
lol

>Google gives FBI his Gmail account since he used their facilities to hack the email account of the CEO

>FBI starts searching for information about this email and stumble upon nairaland where search results shows a certain obi has given out the email address on numerous occasions

>They build a profile for him based on information available on nairaland which are his pictures, his address in Australia as a student and his office address in Nigeria.

>They start tracking his accounts and other things in conjunction with Nigerian authorities

>They realize they have a solid case against him and put up an arrest warrant for him.

>He arrived in America and was arrested by the police because he was on the wanted list of criminals.

Hope it's simple enough for you now cheesy
