Clap for yourselves Ipob, for disgracing your own brother and a leader, because He is the one that ordered Fulani herdsmen to kill and rape igbos back home? And what have been achieved? Biafra, good name or goodwill? Stupid seeds everywhere...

Social programming from a young age through the school system and from the church, with the exception of the Catholic and Anglican Church who speak to those in authority. There is massive brainwashing not to challenge your elders even if they a fantastically corrupt.

that's more reason an igbo can't independently contest and win presidential election in this country,am sorry to say and it's obvious igbos are the least united major tribe in Nigeria.

This is utterly disgraceful. It is what you get when a section of people refuse to heed to sound advice from people who mean well for them and believe they know it all.

Now look at this: you want Biafra, yet you go about destroying the same structures and people that could help you get your Biafra - even your own people.
You now see why a lot of people are not comfortable with this Biafra thing?
A country that that could degenerate to crass lawlessness.
Igbos should start reorientating their young ones; start impacting positive characters, aspirations and values that the great Igbo was once known for.

@ gidgiddy.

He who slaps his own father wouldn't think twice before breaking someone else's fathers head. The igbos are only communicating to all other leaders no matter whose tribe you belong.

They attacked a government official.

The same corrupt broken government which has robbed Nigerians dry and kills Nigerians everyday.

@Michelz, I think you are one of the beneficiary of this so called corrupt politicians. Do you still remember vision 2020 slogan during Abacha regime? Next year will be 2020 and Nigeria as a country is still struggling to discover herself.

We don't have leaders at all. A leader who can order a fellow citizen to be beaten or even killed and within a very short time no one will here about it again. If Nigerians can start treating them like this wherever we have the opportunity think gradually they will change for good

When you say 'corrupt politicians',you should know that's a blanket statement. Be more specific. Is Sen. Ekweremadu one of the corrupt politicians?
And who found him guilty of corruption? IPOB?
You haven't fully grasped the extent of damage that singular act on Ekweremadu would do on Ndigbo as a nation.

I tell you that this is one of the most disgraceful and reprehensible actions ever, and should be totally condemned.

Do you know the extent of damage it has even done on Igbo culture?
Do you know that act is capable of chasing away would-be investors on southeast?
What if that man had been seriously injured, do you think an Enugu man would be happy with and Abia man (where Nnamdi Kanu is from)?

Do you know that attack is capable of causing mini tribal war in Igboland?
I thought they said IPOB was peaceful, then why attack an innocent man that came even on behalf of Igbos? Do you know the Fg can latch on that act and justify the proscription of IPOB?

If Igbos can met out jungle justice to one of theirs on the street abroad, who would speak out for the Igbos in other countries when they face xenophobism?

When is enough enough??

Look at the stories on the Nairaland front page right now.

Everyday it's highlighting the horrors of living in Nigeria.

How many billions must the Nigerian establishment steal from you?
How many people must die due to lack of infrastructure?
How many more millions must sink into poverty before the Nigerian people say enough is enough?

IPOB are only the first group with balls to aim their anger where it is supposed to be.

Not at civilians like many other aggrieved groups.

You are a Nigerian African, whether they beat the politicians or not , they the Europeans don't see you has civilized.

When Europeans study people, what they look at is collective intelligence, not individual achievements.

They study how you treat the most vunerable in your society, your contributions to humanity of which Nigeria has done nothing.

Consider yourself an animal whether we beat the politicians or not.

Until we build a civilized nation no one will ever respect us.

Get it.

Why are all the political class and cronies becoming jittery all of a sudden? They are scared of something. This is not whether you are an Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa. Did you notice that all the politicians are reacting in one voice not minding their ethnic or religious colouration.

They are panicking cause many Nigerians are getting wiser. Nigerians are now taking the bull by the horn and they (smart politicians) are seeing and reading the hand writings on the walls.

Simply put, they can see REVOLUTION coming. It may still take a longer time, but it will surely come.

So who is the judge? IPOB?
They are to decide who is corrupt and who is not?
And why even by jungle justice?
When you feel that the politicians are the problem and not the 'civilians' and you attack them on the streets, another person in another country, say South Africa, may feel that 'civilians' from other countries and not politicians are the problem, and attack them.
This is what xenophobism is.
Remember that Igbos are many in almost all the countries in the world.
