Well Eli was Blind as far as the story goes, just say they did a really bad job showing it.
When I first watched the movie I never for once suspected he was blind not until some years later (it was that bad),

Truly enjoyed it. Maybe because the cinema wasn't as filled as it is for blockbusters. Though I felt I would have enjoyed it more if I was aware of the various homages QT paid (the time period, shows e.t.c). Liked how he treated the history and yes, I don't think his short portrayal of Bruce Lee was disrespectful in the context it was made.

I don't know why this movie got a lot of bad reviews from this thread but it looked pretty good to me. The montser fight scene might look unappealing but I like the story.
