TheSuperNerd:how old is Akpeyi and Ezenwa, even Cameroon with their good keepers still invited kameni for the AFCON, Inviting Ejide who is currently the only available keeper playing regularly. There is nothing bad in him keeping for one or two year till the young keeper mature to take over the reign |

andrew44444:K.Nwakali is only in the conversation as a prospect if he comes good. You just love twisting statements. Is anyone saying he should be called up to the SE now? He remains a prospect that can step up to the plate if his club issues goes well. We don't have a player of K.nwakali's profile and style in the team so hopes on him are still valid as he is still very young. He is a genuine DLP and hopes are that he comes good and contributes to this new generation. Unlike calls for Ejide which holds no water at all.... Sometimes I wonder what kind of Super Eagles some of you lots want us to have.... A team filled with just any mediocre because he plays football somewhere at top flight level. Looolll... Abeg.... You see the shape this new generation is taking, inviting Ejide will be like installing a virus on our SE software system... Lol

TheSuperNerd:I tell you...left to me... If I was in Rohr's shoes... the 3 goal keepers I would have called up are: Uzoho Alampasu Maduka Okoye... if Nigerians like...let them cry me a river... Uzoho is even better than the two old goalies in the last afcon or they're all in same level |

of course he did not score. his stats were poor.. but he wasn't a flop. If only the stats were available we can make such deduction. But we have the luxury of watching EPL games. ChrisKels: |

TheSuperNerd:Lol I dey use ejide make my example Are our GK not mediocre? i wish we have the type of GK the cameronians have. You already know me i wont rant about players, i give my good examples most times If anyone suggest an old ejide there is nothing bad there as this is football Thank God for the decent players we now have See who is talking about mediocre, can anyone be worst than you that always want kelechi nwakali in the team? You are speaking about mediocre but you always want a porto B player in the eagles If you keep on suggesting a team b player then you dont want the best for the team Nwakali should get a decent club then i will agree with you My friend you are a very BIG COMEDIAN

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BARAJ92(m): 8:42pm On Aug 18, 2019 |
The simple fact is, we don't have any goal keeper for now. The best we can do till we get a proper goal keeper is to do try and error even with the old keeper until we get a befitting retirement. No one is clamouring for old players in other positions because we have adequate replacement and better upgrade. |
