Walk with God at the level of the Spirit is one which requires that someone lives a selfless and sacrificial life in accordance with this saying of Jesus:

"If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." {Matthew 16:24-25 (KJV)}

So it's a life that requires that someone puts his life on the line for the sake of someone else, even the life that Jesus Himself also lived, as He died so that man can have eternal life.

Matthew 20:28 (KJV)

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

And this life is quite similar to that of those whose job requires them putting their lives on the line to save and protect the lives of others such as those in the military.

So because of the comparisons that could be drawn from the requirements at this level of walk with God, and those of the military, when I began walk at this level, I thought it would be wise for me to join the army to help prepare me mentally for the battle ahead, as walk at the level of the Spirit is also as one of a soldier who is in a battle field and involved in a war, only that in this case it's spiritual not physical.

Therefore I had made that decision, but it was while I was in the process of taking that step, that I was stopped by God who told me that it wasn't necessary. So that's why I didn't proceed with my plans to join the army as I initially intended.

Nonetheless understanding what it entails to live a selfless and sacrificial life, and to put one's life on the line for the sake of others, makes me to have such huge respect for those who do same and put themselves in harm's way to ensure the safety of others, for I know it's not easy at all to do so.

Hence much respect to all those who put their lives on the line to save the lives of others, for in my opinion the job they do is the greatest job on Earth.

My abandoning of this thread to ensure i got it right has really paid off, for I was about to come here and say that the image of Jesus I saw looked more like that of the common one than those you posted here, until I took a look at the face of the second one, and it was not just the face of Jesus I saw in the dream but also the look He had on His face.

As for the hair texture am not so sure about it for it wasn't so clear, but what i'm sure about is the face and the look He had on His face, for it's very similar to the second one.

It was about a young boy - Culton Burpo who had a revelation of heaven (on a tour with Jesus) whilst he was operated on at the theatre. After his surgery, he recounted his experiences to his parents.

At a point, his father was curious to know what Jesus looked like facially. The father showed him various pictures and paintings of Jesus. Not until Akiane Kramarik's painting of Jesus surfaced on a channel (either CNN or Opera Winfrey's show). That was when the boy confirmed that was the exact face of Jesus he saw.

That film got me researching on Akiane Kramarik's (a gifted child painter) experience as well. Her story is a very interesting one. It eventually converted her atheist parents to Christ.

It isn't so perfect though, but this is the best I've ever seen.
However this isn't His glorified looks, cos in that His hairs are as white as snow.

I expect Jesus' appearances to depend on the occasion, just as on the mount when it was transfigured during His high level meeting with Moses and Elijah, so I think it's expected.

Now I think @EnthronedbyGod has to help us clarify something that has puzzled me even up til this very point, which is, what brought him to the thread where this picture of Jesus was first uploaded by @OkCornel for me to confirm if it was indeed the face of Jesus who appeared to me, because the topic of the thread had nothing to do with the appearance of Jesus.

And though I had plans to bring it to him later on to him to confirm if it was who he also saw, I was shocked to find him there all of a sudden, and I was like, no way?

At the same time I was anxious to find out what his thoughts were concerning those pictures, because I had already given my own opinion that it was the face which I saw briefly of Jesus, particularly the second one in that post.

I know that he was led of the Spirit of God to that thread at that point in time, but I would like to hear from him the details, because obviously it confirmed how those who are led by the Spirit hardly miss out on what God was doing.

I can't say if this your question came at the right time or wrong, cos of the accusations that have been flying around, however I'm not moved by popular opinion, so I'll reply you.


A young man asked me if Jesus looked like most of the Jesus pics and I told him no, cos I had never seen any close to it.

The night before I came across the pics, I lay down speaking in tongues and it was as if I was feeling sleepy, suddenly I saw myself with my phone on nairaland on that exact thread where the pics was.


I logged in the next morning before 11am and came straight to the thread and it was what I saw the previous night, that was why I told you to post it here before I came back online in the evening , and I logged off immediately.

That was the only thing I came to do online that morning of thesame day when I logged in.

You can confirm through my posts and you'll see that it was the only post I made that morning of same day.
