Okay, I stumbled on an article yesterday and I read that DC made the Joker movie in a bid for Joaquin Phoenix to showcase his talent and be a contender for Oscar.

The question I had in mind was, what special thing or movie did Phoenix act for DC/WB to warrant such positive action from the company

Anyone has any idea?
I wonder whose balls he fondled grin grin

From the article, it isn't about deadpool or any comic related stuff, rather it is about Joaquin Phoenix talent and his skills needs to be acknowledged with an Oscar award.

If you look at the little promotion going on, they are promoting Joaquin Phoenix to win best actor.

This makes me wonder why? I can't remember him acting any DC/WB related roles of recent.

You keep releasing information from 3rd party websites and blogs and NOT a single official statement from DC.

Doesn't this buttress my point that DC is more conservative and uses 3rd party websites, media outlets ETC to release its news?

lol funny dude, whatever rocks ur boat. Me I sha know warner bros won't go on rededit or 3rd party site to officially declare date for a movie, cus there are dozen of 3rd party site... They, WB will make the announcement at an official forum, places like comic con and the rest. That's where the 3rd party site gets the info and paste on their sites. Until DC or WB do that, any news about release date is just prediction or rumor.

Until the company officially declares it, anything anyone post online is speculation and prediction, which might turn of true or not. After all it's their movie they determine when they wanna release it.

About it being recent, lol guy the argument WB or DC officially declaring release date. And that is something they won't do unless they are sure.
