Also today MARCA Sport said that "the LA Liga Champions are now counting on Neymar to express his desire to join Barca"

1 the midfield in South America teams isn't that good , only Brazil had a really good midfield compared to others
2 coutinho has cuntmiro to do all his dirty works and South American refs allow more contact than European refs .
3 coutinho succeeded in Liverpool cos he had this players who press really well , Barcelona's defensive football has always been on pressing real well until this long proboscis monkey came in . It's bad enough that Messi and Suarez don't press , adding coutinho to that means Barcelona defends with only 7 men when dembele isn't playing .


PS : valverde also contributed to the failure in some way , he's not that smart tbh , if u guys had a better coach he would find a way to accommodate coutinho but it still wouldn't bring the best out of him cause he still gets in messis way and he's slow , but I think it's more on coutinhos position not been in the kind of football Barcelona used to play than on the coach , though he might succeed as a false winger but he will get in messis way , unless yall are prepared to let go of Messi .
