She is not the first female Minister of the FCT. Remember Professor Miriam Ikejiani-Clark from Anambra State ? She was appointed FCT minister by Gen. Sani Abacha ( 1995 - 1997).

And to have indigenes of Abuja is an aberration. No one should be indigene of FCT. The FCT was curved out from the 3 states of Kogi, Niger and Nassarawa. All those claiming to be indegenes of the FCT should have been resettled in their former states and it is not too late.
