I would have like the guy...but overly defensive. He impulsively picks offense in any statement contrary to his opinions. If only he knows he is human and accept he can be wrong.

And he is always forcing relationship. That makes ladies take him for granted/scare them away. He would have been a great guy/lover if he keeps his emotions in check.

And for him been too defensive, I think that is his lifestyle, no faking.

The thing he was literally forcing himself on Venita, that one was using him to catch cruise for a week or so until she got tired and pushed him away. Then he went back to Esther...their 'ship' now is a case of 'nearest is dearest'.

Defensive people are difficult people to even have a decent conversation with, it is a sign of low self esteem. Though his own is still mild...some use arrogance to cover up their low self esteem, like the case of one provoking madam in that house.

Point of order - Frodd ditched his pursuit of Venita which she is ruing till date. He left Venita. Yea I agree that he needs to shore up his self esteem base urgently.
