This Best XI takes into consideration their culminative performance else Maja will clearly be ahead of Okereke. Ojo and Eduok have been more influential in the wings consistently. I’m taking note of Dennis and Michael.

Deji plays in the German 4th tier. Has played all 5 games so far

ChrisKels:
Good job guy, but why didn't u give Dennis Bonaventure a mention, he was immense in their last match where Okereke blew hot and cold. Another gud mention should be Kingsley Michael who also did well for Bologna in a cup game.

Plz what's up with Deji Behruether's career?

He has played all 3 games, deployed as a LFB, RFB and RWB and was impressive especially in their last game. The kid has a lot of promise. We need to get him at least for our U23 team.

Barryseal:
The way you guys famz players eh. I just had to Google this name and discovered he plays for a newly promoted Bundesliga2 team and he has played just 2 games for them since 2018-2019 season.
You mean say, you have been watching him when he was playing for the youth team of a Bundesliga 3 club. Abi you're just getting excited because say na Oyibo? Serious question.

Liar, Lacazette scored double digits in 15 and 14 goals in his first and second season.
You jumped in without looking and joined a bandwagon based on your own p re conceived negative prejudices.

You clearly did not read the whole comments completely and or unable to comprehend the statements written you then put forward essentially nonsense.

The pertinent issue raised is one of comparison. Lacazette was able to score double digits of 27 and 28 goals each season albeit his best season at Lyon. However his goal tally in the EPL is essentially half that specifically scoring 13 and 14 goals in the EPL in his last two seasons.

Back to you where are the LIES. ❓ ❓ ❓

If you were a gentleman with honour you would apologise. Is that too much too expect. huh

if we are able to get this guy and eberechi eze into our midfield set up....

then our midfield woes will be over....

we can now concentrate on the defense and goal keeping department...

heard Rohr wanna call up Felix agu...
I am so happy, pray he gets his passport before then....
and hopefully with additional one or two CB inclusion we're good to go.

hopefully we get Tomori or Udokhai then that's solved...we can start prepare for the world cup in Qatar....

prior then maduka, alampasu,uzoho...one amongst them will come good and lay hold on the number 1 shirt
Forget that Mbaise boy(Ebere Eze) of mine for now, he is too inconsistent for a look in.

Ex Nigeria U17 and 20 defender Lukman Zakari made a shock move to Spanish Laliga side Real Betis from unfancied Latvian side FS Metta, a team that almost dropped to the second division at the end of last season in Latvia.

Zakari joined the team last season but his move happened with just few games till the end of the season, hence he didn’t get to play in any of their remaining games even though he was registered by the team.

Many didn’t know that shortly after he made the move he was few details away from joining champions of Africa Esperance without even kicking a ball for his new team. The move didn’t happen as both teams fail to agree on terms of the deal particularly on the structure of the payment of his transfer fee.

As expected the disappointment made the 21 year old to rebel against the Latvian club but after a method with the management of the team and his team of advisers led by his mentor Mohammed ‘Mowiz ‘ Suleiman he returned back to Latvia to resume his career at Metta.

” I remember Mowiz telling me to give it my all at Metta and forget about what happened in Tunisia that even though Metta isn’t one of the biggest team in the country, I can still standout if I play to my potential. He advised me to make up with my agent, the club and those I offended when the move to Esperance broke down”, Zakari revealed.

The over six feet tall defender did just that and on his debut for the team against Daugavpils he was pivotal to the team winning the game by 1-0 and he followed it up with another man of the match display against Riga even though they lost 1-2.

He took it to another level against Ventspils in his third game for the team which they won 2-0 and earned his third straight man of the match award and team of the week nomination.

News started spreading about his performance particularly his ability to defend and attack when the need arises. So much that against RFS he scored a brace to help them draw 2-2.

A move to MS Ashdod was suppose to happen two months ago but the move came almost same time as the interest from Real Betis who have been tracking him for three months, the same period where he made the team of the week in the league ten times in 13 games.

Scouts of the team watched him and were entirely pleased with his composure on the ball and his ability to play from the back and a move was sharply agreed on and last week he arrived Spain for medicals.

However before leaving Latvia he went into the record books as the first player to appear in the team of the week 17 times in 20 games and his move was also the biggest transfer from the league to a top five league in Europe.
TOTW 17 times out of 20!!! Crazy potential. Looks like another Amuneke boy is about to emerge as another of Nigeria's great defensive hopes. Sir Nerd will love this very much. smiley

In French league one playing for Lyon he was able to score 27 & 28 goals albeit his best two seasons. He has not been able to replicate that in the EPL getting 13 & 14 goals since he came, over the last two seasons. That's essentially half of what he got in the French league one.

When l compared both of them to Dominic Iorfa who was then playing for England and Wolves as a first team first choice player.

I was called bias and accused of being his agent over hyping him, he denied Nigeria.

These two German boys have done exactly what Tammy has done. But we still keep begging them.

In my opinion even Odubanjo who is now coming back to form after injury is better than them. Indeed IMO technically he is better than Iorfa. However, for the physicality of the English game, Aerial dominance and pace Iorfa has the advantage , in addition Iorfa is also CB.

But for the position of RB with Nigeria in consideration our technical style of play my view is that Odubanjo may have may have the advantage. But open to debate but he would be the best option seemingly.

I know people here like to dismiss the Scottish league. But it's been a spring board for players to jump to bigger and better things.

Dembele left Celtic now at Lyon the most at one time expensive defender Virgil left Celtic to the EPL.

But Ojo has been playing exceptionally well as well as Aribo.

The season is still young. Still waiting to see if either will be a dominant force in the championship.

U have this strong proclivity to make incoherent travesties and still want to sale it as facts. What has Odubajo and Iorfa got to contend with Uduokhai and Jordan? Do they play in the same positions? Amidst all these qualities u used to describe Iorfa, dude in still in the abyss of the championship while the ones u so berate play in the top leagues. I guess the premier league scouts are too blind to notice what a classy player he is. Beats my imagination how one would create farcies and still dwell in them. Man we know better

I am tipping him to get a considerable amount of minutes for the Betis first team this season, atleast in the cup games.
