Man changes his DP to a poison, commits suicide while friends assume he‘s clowning

A man identified as Erestus Okpe has committed suicide hours after he changed his Facebook profile picture to that of a poison bottle.


The deceased, from Lejja, Enugu State but based in Maiduguri, Borneo State, took the action on Tuesday and the reason is still unknown.


After changing his profile picture on Tuesday, his friends thought he was just clowning them as usual, but the issue became serious after he refused to reply their comments.


They later notified his siblings about the development on Wednesday and that was when they rushed to his apartment, only to find him dead.

It reminds me of THE SHEPHERD BOY STORY.
He always raised false alarm that wolves are after his sheep's, but when it really happened everyone thought it was one of his pranks.

A colleague of mine committed suicide 3 weeks ago.
Someone that earns 100k per month (2weeks in, 2weeks off), married with a beautiful kid!

This suicide thing is spiritual

We need to bind these two evil Spirit in Nigeria (the Spirit of Suicide and the Spirit of Rape). Why on earth will somebody drink Sniper because of problem and what pleasure will a man get fingering a 5years old girl if no be Spirit.

Depression kills

It does. Sometimes, when a depressed Nairalander attacks me, I ignore because I know they are probably going through hell on earth, so they want to pour their frustrations on others. Some, I don't ignore — I handle them.

Suicide only begat more suicide. It's high time news like this stops

There's a bad spirit of suicide hovering.Sadly,someone might commit suicide in the next 24 hrs.

if people who are blind, crippled ,mentally retarded or suffering from one disability or another can refuse to commit suicide and rather keep fighting on to survive in a nation like nigeria , then there is no excuse for ant able bodied person to say he or she is depressed therefore suicide is the next option, there is no justification for it .

there is no other bigger depression bigger than someone been poor and blind in nigeria or physically disabled and poor. yet these set of people dont even think of committing suicide.
