Through their official website, Belgian First Division A champions Racing Genk have announced that they have reached an agreement with FC Midtjylland for the transfer of Paul Onuachu.

The Nigeria international has inked a five-year contract with the Blue-White, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2024.

Though the fee paid by Racing Genk has not been disclosed, it has been reported by the Belgian and Danish media to be in the region of seven million euros, making him the most expensive Nigerian player sold by a Scandinavian club.

Chelsea paid 16 million pounds to sign former Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel but Norwegian outfit Lyn Oslo received only four million pounds from the deal.

Onuachu began his professional career at FC Midtjylland in 2012 and netted 74 goals in 181 games for the Superliga side.

The 25-year-old was loaned out to Vejle BK in 2015, playing 13 games and netting 5 goals.

Ozornwafor joins Almeria on loan with an option to buy.
With an option to buy? Why did he join Galatasaray in the first place

One of my many predictions

He will be an unwanted player

Haha if Galatasaray had plans for him they wouldn't insert a buy option

I'm sure Almeria don't know anything about him, because if they had and they liked him they would have put in a direct bid

the move is a very good one for the lads development. its miles better than going out on loan to an unknown team in the lower leagues in turkey.in spain he will be better groomed with chances of being snapped up by a laliga team. who knows if almeria will be promoted next season

When was the last time a super eagle player rejected an invitation to the national team??

They can't do that cus it would put them in the bad books of the NFF and Nigerians..

Even u can't deny that some of d players need d break.. Marco Silva just said Iwobi isn't fully ready to play yet cus he missed pre season..think how much good it will do Iwobi if he can spend one or two free weeks to train with Everton instead of flying to Kiev (fatigue could set in) .. also there's Onuchu who just joined Genk..

I'm not saying the whole team should be rested but quite a good number of them need the rest....

It's one thing to go to a better league, its another to go to a club that has plans for you

Almeria can comfortably keep him in the bench all season and send him back to Galatasaray at the end of the season because he has no reputation

This move is baffling

Hum watching Ejaria and Aribo....the two seem to be at par..at best languid....not as skillful as Papilo who was more languid sef...Aribo and Ejaria lack resoluteness, combativeness or guile of a Papilo...

Just watch Joax Felix..the Portuguese at Vincente Calderon you will understand...

Ejaria and Aribo are rally average,we have to lower our expectations on them, enjoy their game...

Okay but how many times have you watch joao felix play a competitive game in ATM shirt?

Felix is a good player no doubt, but why cant we football fan just allow him play like 15 laliga games first?

I just hope you are not judging by his preseason performance because that should not be taken serious.
