Man changes his DP to a poison, commits suicide while friends assume he‘s clowning

A man identified as Erestus Okpe has committed suicide hours after he changed his Facebook profile picture to that of a poison bottle.


The deceased, from Lejja, Enugu State but based in Maiduguri, Borneo State, took the action on Tuesday and the reason is still unknown.


After changing his profile picture on Tuesday, his friends thought he was just clowning them as usual, but the issue became serious after he refused to reply their comments.


They later notified his siblings about the development on Wednesday and that was when they rushed to his apartment, only to find him dead.

Suicide everywhere

A colleague of mine committed suicide 3 weeks ago.
Someone that earns 100k per month (2weeks in, 2weeks off), married with a beautiful kid!

A circular magazine did a research and came up with the fact that those who attend church regularly have higher chances of overcoming suicide and can also live longer than those who don't attend by 15years.

Depression is not what makes people commit suicide. It is man’s wickedness to man that makes people commit suicide. Nigerians are tough and are survivors. But when ugly hearted people act on their wickedness, some give up and don’t see the essence in staying alive.

The rate of suicide among the youth these days is really high. What could be the cause?

The thing I like about that young man who killed himself is: he didn't join any forum to pour his frustrations on others. He calmly took his life like a boss without frustrating people around him.

Anyone remembers Sam & Dean (Supernatural) Believe it or not a special breed of demons have taken control over the spiritual sphere in Nigeria and its feeding on the weakest links... This would make a good plot for a movie

From personal experience I have found this to be true.. But the truth is that our people don't research. We have also lost our values and now immorality is now being celebrated. I wish people could learn this truth.

From personal experience I have found this to be true.. But the truth is that our people don't research. We have also lost our values and now immorality is now being celebrated. I wish people could learn this truth.
