Why Jehovah's Witnesses Hate The King James Version

Former Jesuit, Alberto Romero Rivera, said some pretty amazing things.

He even stated the amazing concepts that the Jesuits got into the rabidly anti-Catholic Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses are known for saying that everyone is pagan, except for them. They are not like anybody else in the entire world! I searched some rare old books, and even read articles on the Jehovah's Witnesses website that made me start to wonder if Alberto was right. The Jehovah's Witnesses are experiencing a bit of a dilemma. On the one hand they want to be distinct from all the religions of the world, and of all the religious groups. But what makes them distinct keeps getting smaller. Jehovah's Witnesses like to say that they can use any Bible, including the KJV. But in fact, they hate the King James, because it opposes all their basic doctrines. Let's take a walk through history.

In 1882, as I said in another vlog, Charles Taze Russel justified his not believing Christ was God, or that the Godhead was three in one, by what Bible? The King James? No, it was the 1881, English Revised Version, the ERV, based on Westcott and Hort's Greek text. That was the first Bible to remove 1 John 5:7 ("the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one" ), without so much as a note to say that he took it out!

In 1931, when Joseph Franklin (Judge) Rutherford needed a name for his splinter group of followers, which Bible did he use? The King James? No, it was the 1901 ASV, American Standard Version of the ERV, that he used for Isaiah 43:10 "Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, (Witnesses - Jehovah) and My servant who I have chosen..." The "Servant" was changed from Jesus Christ, prophesied in Isaiah 42-53. Rutherford now said the "servant" were the Jehovah's Witnesses themselves!

Back then Jehovah's Witnesses looked very different. Rutherford openly accused the Roman Catholic religion of being "The Great Harlot" of Revelation. And all the way back to 1882, of course, as I said, they said the Roman Catholic leadership created the doctrine of the Trinity from paganism, and added 1 John 5:7 into their Bible.

So check this out. This is a 1942 edition of The Emphatic Diaglott (ED), (In other words, it's a Greek interlinear with Greek, and English underneath it.) published by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. It's missing "the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one" from 1 John 5:7. It even says in John 1:1 of Jesus, "the Word was A god."

But what manuscript was this based on? Let's take a look. "The Vatican Manuscript," what we call Vaticanus. And it has notes on every page saying "Vatican Manuscript" to show what it says. But they didn't change John 9:35, where Jesus asked the healed man who was born blind, "Dost thou believe on the Son of God?" That's still there.

Let me read what happened next from King James. [John 9:35-38]
So Jesus said to the man born blind, "Dost thou believe on the Son of God?" 36 "He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? 37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. 38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him." That was a verse that helped a Muslim friend of mine who was also a Mason to become a Christian! So that could not do. So immediately they started making another Greek interlinear.

In 1969 they came out with The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures, the KIT. In that one John 9:35 says instead, "are you believing into the son of man?" [instead of Son of God] And like other Alexandrian Bibles it has that. And of course, it also removes the Godhead from 1 John 5:7 and it also says "a god" in John 1:1, and many more things.

But here's the irony: the Jehovah's Witnesses aren't looking so different anymore. You know why? Because they use the same corrupted text as all the other King James haters. At one time they looked different. They accused the Catholic church of adding the Trinity in 1 John 5:7. But then, what do you know? Starting in 1964, during the Vatican II, the Catholics started backing the exact same text the Jehovah's Witnesses use! So almost no one has the Trinity in 1 John 5 anymore, even in modern Bible translations, all over the world! And almost every Bible translation is "Vatican Approved" since 1965!

As I've said before, the fruit of those Bibles in the churches is evident. The Jehovah's Witnesses' Bible, the NWT, New World Translation, doesn't teach that Christ is God. Big deal. In many verses, neither do the Bibles of the Protestants or Catholics! Do you see the problem?

How can you run a distinctive religion, when almost everyone is starting to disbelieve the same things you do? Also since Vatican II, almost everybody uses the same Greek text and the same Hebrew text - even the same Latin text! So how do Jehovah's Witnesses distinguish themselves from Protestants and Catholics? It's like they are all on the same side.

And to top it off, the Kingdom Interlinear of 1969 has been said by at least one scholar to be just as valid as anyone else's interlinear. Ooh, I didn't show you this. Take a look! Right here on page 9. "The Greek text that we have used as the basis of our NWT is the widely accepted Westcott and Hort text (1881)," (see, I wasn't making it up) "by reason of its admitted excellence. But we have also taken into consideration other texts, including that prepared by D. Eberhard Nestle and that compiled by the Spanish Jesuit scholar Jose Maria Bover and that by the other Jesuit scholar, A. Merk."

You know, what's the difference? It's starting to look like an alliance (an unholy alliance) between the Catholics and Jehovah's Witnesses against those King James Bible believers.

Why is there such an unholy alliance between the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Roman Catholic Church? Because the Catholics created the Bible that the Jehovah's Witnesses use to go against the basic doctrines that we find clearly stated in the King James Bible. Are you with me?

They both now use the Alexandrian Bible, because that is the Bible that the Devil created to fight against the King James and all the other preserved Bibles. It starts to make you wonder if the only people who are actually against the Jehovah's Witnesses are the King James Bible believers! Isn't that interesting! The Jehovah's Witnesses are running out of people to disagree with!

In the end, all the Jehovah's Witnesses really seem to offer is another authoritarian structure for former Catholics and people who want to be told what to do. But even that isn't very original, is it? You want somebody to lord it over you, and tell you how to earn eternal life? Big deal! The Catholics have had that game going for centuries. You like going door to door to sell your religion? Hop on board! The Mormons have been doing that, as well. And some Baptists, but that may be too "independent" for you.

Let's face it: What difference does it make, if the people you are trying to fight disbelieve the same thing? At this point, all the Jehovah's Witnesses really have to offer is another belief system using the exact same Greek and Hebrew text as the Protestant and Catholics. No wonder the Jehovah's Witnesses' membership is declining. They can find Christ-doubting texts almost anywhere - except in the King James Bible.

It's starting to sound like former Jesuit Alberto Rivera was right. He told Jack Chick decades ago that the Jesuits infiltrated the Jehovah's Witnesses, to turn it into a place where former Catholics could go, and the Catholic system could still keep their hands on their necks.

In the end, the Jehovah's Witnesses are just another religious choice in the move for one world Bible for one world religion. Because they all agree more or less, except those who trust the King James, or other preserved Bible, as God's preserved words. That's why the Jehovah's Witnesses hate the King James, because that's about all there is left to hate!

JWs DON'T hate the KJV, however it's idiotic and hypocrisy to pretend there are no errors & FORGERIES ( for instance ,1John5:7) in the KJV which promote false, man made doctrine alien to the holy Scriptures.

If that is true, why would you love a version (KJV) that you believe is full of errors and forgeries, why would you love a version that you think is 'man made doctrine that is alien to the holy Scriptures'?

The KJV, with all its faults, yielded the Jehova Witness and the NWT they produced which is another version, which, if you believe your wasting time statement above, would not exist.

So, why other versions? Increase in awareness and understanding, new discoveries, new intentions, and we have evolved.

Thanks to the KJV for spreading the message afar to so many lands, but if we now discovered that there were errors during the translation of the KJV. It makes no sense ignoring such blunders and sticking to it simply because it was the first version we know!

It does belong to the human's who wrote it Max. You just needs think some and you'd have to ask if God wouldn't have inspired them to produce a text that was less prone to the creation of so many versions. It does not take away from the book though, and is in fact the beauty of it because it attempting to understand it does the mind God put in heads grow till it knows what it exactly is.
