Well done!!!. In as much I understand making a business decision can be tricky at times but on this one,I don't know if I should applaud your bravery and doggedness so far or if I should question your judgment.Why taking on this risky and costly adventure when there's a shipping port in Oakland CA there.this whole trip shouldn't have cost you more than a day or two.
That Wyoming highway is very dangerous not because of bad road or fears of being robbed but you will have to drive almost 8hrs with no telephone or internet services and God forbid your vehicle breaks down,don't expect police to come to your rescue.you won't even see any police presence on that route except air patrol by helicopter.
Taking this kind of ventures is not always the best.the cons at times surpass the pros.i wish you the best.

Using that SUV to tow a vehicle of the same weight over such distance and road conditions was a bad move. . . transmission was probably shot by the time it got to the end user in Nigeria

my phone suddenly rang. a call from Nigeria

requesting the inventory i had ( i purchase and ship cars to

people) and with my efficiency and tract record of prompt

delivery, my customer base grew to a level i had to eventually

run from.
The caller requested that i purchase and ship 2 lexus rx 330

to Nigeria urgently. so i opened my app to playfully search.

the plan was to find a good deal (as always done) for the best

price and propmt completion of the job.
behold, in less than 10 minutes i found 1 which was just

posted, i gave my innitial asking price and we wher set to

deal.

3:30pm (my local time) i asked for his phone number and

address but to my shock, he is located in Stockton California

(northern california).


Damn!!!....this deal is about to give me usd $2000 in 2-3 days

what do i do?

I called the vehicle owner and made a deal that if he keeps

it for me, i'll be there the following day in the afternoon

(obviously he saw my mobile number was from Baltimore MD and

to him, this was some sorta joke).

The clock was ticking and i needed to get moving. checked

all available airports within a 100 mile radius but the only

available flight booking i could get was JETBLUE from JFK NYC

to LAX CA.

well, i booked it and ran to the shower shortly after

returning my Nigerian Client's call to conclude on the

delivery price.

To be honest b4 I jump on any road tripsm not familiar with I ask several questions and gather as much info about the routes to plan and prepare and weigh other options I don’t make/take impulsive decisions/actions on unknown long journeys. I must know exactly what I’m up against b4 I start shit. He got that info quite late into his journey from the white concerned man at the gas station bt too late to turn back maybe.

Im happy u got through this ordeal bt I think u shud have atleast 80% idea of what Ure getting into b4 u start any long trip and plan out all ur moves. Impulsive decisions on unknown territory can be dangerous.

Not going to judge him but honestly there is no way you won't want to conclude that he is either stupid or just desperate for money.

I have never been to the US but i buy a lot online and i mostly avoid buying anything from California because my freight forwarder is on the east coast, Maryland to be precise and it takes a minimum of 7 to 8 days to even get the smallest items from California down to Baltimore using Standard shipping. For someone to now think he would drive a car through such long distances let alone tow a car through such long distances reeks of either desperation or utter stupidity. No two thoughts around it.
